I have just seen it more and more and yesterday, I saw a goalkeeper in League 1 with short sleeves and it led me to ask the question. Does that mean that there was never a law after all ?

I'd be really interested to know the reasoning behind Johnson's decision. The default request for players these days is to play at the highest level possible (International, Europe etc). I'd be interested to know why he's chosen Sunderland over say Liverpool or Spurs (if they were genuinely in for him). It's hardly like there is a new revolution going on at Sunderland. Is is just a case of being close to home being his top priority ?

I remember being clad in a hideously loud Paisley Patterned shirt tucked into the front of Pale Blue Farah Trousers but with the back not tucked in and with a pair of Blue Reebok Classic running trainers on my feet for this one. Bloody excellent game that one.
