In which case, why does it want to create it's own merchandise which would in effect take money from the club? I am sure they would have a product range of about 4/5 t-shirts and get about 100 of each printed. If we are told that not buying burgers from inside the ground isnt going to affect the club, there is no way a handful of t-shirts is going to even come close to appearing on the radar. If they end up protesting on the telly with their anti- owner t-shirts they'll be very much on the radar. Any potential investors won't have missed that flashing across their news screens I'm pretty certain. From what I have read in this thread, this isnt about being anti-owner so any merchandise wont have any reference to that on it. Sounds like your trying to group these lads in with the SSN mongs and that blatanty is not the case. Sounds like they are a bunch of people trying to undo what those idiots have done to the club. That cant be a bad thing can it ? The 5 man panel includes the Editors of the Mag and True Faith, at least one of which was responsible for the poster campaign "No more Geordie cash for Ashley". I would say their organised campaign was made both loud and publicly against the club owner. I just wonder how such a group will be viewed by any potential investor? Impossible to know how they may view it to be honest. All down to the personality of the potential buyers. As far as the the editors of the mag and true faith, my reading into the meeting is that they have done what they wanted to do, made their voices heard, had their protest, now this is about moving on and how to do things in the future for the benefit of both the fans and the club. I am sure its not all about how they are going to go about their next protest.

I cant imagine what it must be like to be sat across the table for someone and for them to say to you "that thing you own, I will give you £480 million for it".
-
Cant see that the state the club will be in will be much if a laughing matter

Fuck off you Sky Sports cunt

SKY IS SHIT Its a bit overcast here

Was never a red car to be fair. I disagree. Since when has a full and deliberate rugby tackle on someone running past you an into a good position not a red card, regardless of covering defenders? It was the cynical nature of the challange that makes it a red for me. Absolutely. The text book "Professional foul"

Because he is talking through his arse by saying "Ashley may not have had the authority to change the backroom setup" (whatever the fuck that means) and is then persisting in saying it could be true by posting regulations on company directors when its not even clear whether these regulations relate to PLCs, LLCs, Private companies limited by shares / guarantees and the structire of the club. So be it. I am just getting a bit fed up of everyone being snappy and arsey with each other. If he is wrong tell him he is wrong and leave it at that. I am not having a go at you mate. Just the frustration of everything is obvisouly getting to everyone else too and its getting too much.

Bloody hell lads. Cant the lad just bring up a topic of conversation. Sometimes the tone on here is so confrontational and argumentative.
-
Where is the link.. .surely they got a photo of him
-
Well at least we know he's talking to his solicitors. I am sure all parties are
-
Yup me too but I think someone said awhile ago that when he left back in 97, he didnt say anything to the press then either.
-
Probably because he was told he'd be attacked which to be fair is embarrassing as fuck on us lot. I agree 100%. But he would have been warned of that before Saturday morning. Without another home game for a couple of weeks, he could have taken a few days to consider his options. Its just too neat and tidy for me. Miles off I know but I wonder if Llambias' little smiles were because he knew the fans reaction was just what they were expecting. I know thats completely speculative bollocks but like I said, relatively, both incidents were equally as dramatic yet his reaction times were markedly different
-
Team Manager and No 1 hero to Newcastle Utd fans walks out - hear nothing for days A large number of fans chant for him to go and some banners are displayed around the ground - Letter of intention to sell is published 24 hours later Something about his reaction time during those 2 incidents dont sit right with me.
-
Ordinarily, if stories are not linked, I would probably agree. In this case though, this is just 1 huge fucked up mess and my guess would be that if they have part of the story apparently correct, they have the whole lot. For me, the length of that statement convinced me the sale of the club has been an intention for some time - at best since Keegan walked out. Otherwise, Ashley has made a very quick and very rash decision - which is equally as annoying as I would have hoped for better from him.
-
Smells like they've had this all rigged up from the off to me or at least courted interest before all this blew up. I shall book a flight there tomorrow and try and sell them something, must be a piece of piss. To be honest though, if they do sell to a rich investor who pumps money into the club, we're still far better off than heading into administration under Shepherd with Big Sam at the helm. It just seems strange how yesterday Ashley had no intentions of selling, then 24 hours later he's having talks with some Arabs or whoever. We should forget about signing Spanish based players which seem to take months to conclude, shop in Arab land where deals take 24 hours or less. The club has been for sale all along, now he's cashing in his chips. Seeing as though we have all eaten a little bit of humble pie with the fact the papers appear to have been correct about whats been going on behind the scenes, it is therefore hard to ignore the constant stories over the past few months about us being for sale. I said it before but that statement wasnt written Saturday night after the furore at the match. Thats been written and prepared for days
-
This is not true?? anyone who disagrees with above - wake up! Dear o dear. Thats right. We are driving him out, for the lone reason that he is from Buckinghamshire. Tomrrows chip wrappers
-
Wasn't that yesterday ? Old news, trying to get DIC to buy us but they weren't interested. I don't know but he is in Dubai and i've been told that he was seen today, still didn't take the trip back i guess. Could be there for any one of a hundred reasons.

Dont tell me they are having some sort of shouty protest at the Spurs management
-
David Sullivan? Short arse thick cunt owner of Birmingham City David Sullivan ??
-
I cant think of a single thing he could do. The moment has gone.
-
id never heard that story, pretty shocking if true. Just like everything else its just another piece of gossip. But the thought that that could have actually happened
-
He hasnt been prepared to come and work in Newcastle. Thats enough for me.
