It's not so much about the quality of the opposition, but the amount of energy being taken out of the players, playing so many games in such a short space of time. In saying that though, playing so many against so many very good teams, takes more out of the players mentally as much as physically.

To be fair i don't think I worded it like that. The Keegan years were near perfection. The best time of my NUFC supporting life. All I wanted to stress is that while we are having a tough time at the moment, with Eddie in charge, we should have every confidence that things will improve sooner rather than later. Keep the faith.

My first ST was 1984 so I've been through all that and more. Fair to say that the club today is slightly different today to how it was in 1990. We are in a much better place.
