If England do look for a tall strong centre forward, even just for squad purposes, what other options are out there - Crouch wont have many more years left at International level. The lad has a chance. He'll be lightyears ahead of Crouchy soon. Crouch might have height but he's a streak of piss.

He compensates with his lack of pace with some excellent reading of the game, as well as his strong composure and aerial ability. I don't actually think he is that slow. I do agree with the other points. He generally seems fairly strong at everything, nothing outstanding but solid as fuck.
