Nothing will ever make me hate Martins. Today was his time to cement a place in geordie folklore and unfortunately he couldn't do it. HOWEVER (and I only watched the highlights) at least he got a few chances and posed a threat. If it was Owen he would have been fucking anonymous for the whole game again.

I hope this match isn't on TV so I don't have to pull a sickie off work. Stupid weekend jobs. However, probably will anyway, I don't think I could take the result if I found it out all of a sudden on the radio... Can't wait till it's over. I obviously hope we can stay up, but I feel drained. For those who is saying he should lose some weight. I met him at a friendly match when he was with Middlesbrough and he was fucking HUGE. I mean like pure muscle, absolute tank. I think his weight is a big part of his game.

Cool. I've had some weird dreams recently. The night before the game I dreamt that I got a train to St James' park to see the match but I got stuck in a church with a sermon done by my old music teacher. I couldn't get out, fucking scary.

I am not confident at all that we will beat Fulham. They are a quality outfit at the moment and they have to be considered the favourites. It will be a much harder game than the Boro. However, I think with this confidence we can get a result! As a side note. Did Martins do his celebrationary backflip last night? I didn't see him do it on the tele but I'm sure I either saw it on highlights OR I dreamt it... Pretty sure I dreamt it.

Christ that was awesome. So happy we got a result. Anyway, my opinion on the match. Guthrie has a brilliant delivery, nearly everything he stuck in the box hit it's target. Might be an option to play on the right for the next two games. Nolan was odd. I'm not sure whether to praise him or berate him because technically it was unfair play, but who gives a shit!? Beye is awesome going forward, constantly pushing right up the wings and picking up the through balls. Good attitude after the mishap at the start. Viduka was great. Strong as fuck and has the touch of a genius. However, we looked a bit shaky at the back and to be fair, whenever boro got the ball near our area they always looked dangerous and we didn't look very capable. Duff, Butt et al all put in good shifts. However, it was the first time where Owen's anonymousity really hit me because we WERE playing well and creating chances and he was nowhere to be seen... I'll always love Owen but he needs to step up his game fast.

Our goal return, defending, total wins, home wins, away wins, goals conceded, points, position, ownership, player peformance are also disgusting. Have you EVER said anything positive?

I agree. I think it's important we have Duff in the midfield as he has shown a bit of flair and passion, he even took a SHOT against pompey.
