  1. Looks like QPR will have new kits in which to start shameful international incidents. http://www.footballshirtculture.com/images/stories/easygallery/footballshirtculture2/qpr2lcs0708www-footballshirtculture-com.jpg
  2. I've been cheering for England my whole life, and this is the first time where I've given thought to the idea that it would be good if they lost a game and didn't qualify for a major tournament. Something has to change, and at this point, I'm so frustrated that I'd rather have McClarren out than England in. That's pretty sad.
  3. I think it's still too early to feel overly optimistic or pessimistic. Until Allardyce brings in defenders, he will not be the greatest manager, as far as transfer windows go. Barton and Viduka are good signings, but we need to improve the back four, and that's where his focus should be. If Roeder made these signings before a single defender, we would have been down his throat.
  4. That's a great way to advertise your shirt. Get the guy to stand at an angle so that nobody can see what it actually looks like.
  5. When I saw that Chelsea shirt, I didn't believe it, but Kitbag has an ad for the launch, and it's that colour. Unbelievable. It's terrible.
  6. Not sure if this has been posted yet. http://www.footballshirtculture.com/images/stories/easygallery/footballshirtculture2/wolverhampton%20wanderersaway0708www-footballshirtculture-com.jpg
  7. I wonder how much Hargreaves being the only one to score a penalty against Portugal coloured the opinions of who was the best. Personally, I would say it was down to him and Joe Cole, for certain. Aaron Lennon put on a good display, as well, when he came off the bench.
  8. I agree with everyone who is saying it's too early to set expectations. We don't have a proper back four at the moment, nor do we know who our strikers are going to be for sure. Moreover, Big Sam hasn't even come back from vacation yet.
  9. It looks like Lampard may be off to Real Madrid. Should be easier for McClaren to ignore him and drop him from the squad after he leaves England....well, let's hope so, any way.
  10. Well TFC need to get some footballers on its roster, I mean how can anyone take you guy serious when the likes of Danny Dichio,Carl Robinson & Andy Welsh playing for you. It is like TFC is some dumping ground for s**** x-makems. Spotted Ronnie O'Brien on the roster , I remember when he was a kid & Boro dumped him him as junior & he ended up getting a deal with Juventus, which was rather strange. Yeah, Dichio is everyone's favorite, for sure. I just ignore the whole Sunderland thing, as best I can. O'Brien is a great player for us, though. I mean, the MLS isn't at the same level as the Premiership.
  11. As a hockey player for the Mape Leafs? Toronto FC! Toronto's a football town, now. Hadn't you heard?
  12. Franky Lampard definately needs to go. For the most part, I thought England looked like they really wanted to win, and played hard. I was happy to see Beckham back, and I think he played well. Let's be honest, too, Brazil would not have scored that goal if the first choice back four were playing.
  13. He's class, just not to the level we need to be. He deserves to be playing at a decent club, and I'm sure he'll find a deal that works out for him. I would definately love to see him come to Toronto, but who knows.
  14. Yeah, I've got tickets to the Toronto v. Villa match. I'm pretty excited. My friend is a huge Villa supporter, so I'm bringing him along. I think Celtic are playing the MLS Allstars.
  15. I honestly believe that it will make England worse - but I suppose I am pulling a "vic" here because I have no evidence to back that up and Hargreaves has hardly been the backbone of the England team has he. Nah, just the best player for them at the last WC. Sorry, I'm over defending the lad. I wouldn't say he's a crutch, but he's a key player for England. Shame he doesn't play for Canada... any chance of you qualifying next time around? Canada has gone a long while without a manager for our senior squad, and now we're bringing in our U-20 manager as soon as the U-20 World Cup is done. So, it doesn't look good. We need a proper manager, and our football association has it's collective head up its collective ass. With that being said, though, football is becoming more and more popular in Canada. Apparently we have more children playing "soccer" now than we do playing hockey. So, we should have more talented players to choose from going forward. Also, our U-20 squad is not too shabby.
  16. haha. Everyone loves Love now. "Man I love da Love!" Yeah, I'm just pulling that out of my #ss. I figure he's one of two strikers out there and he'll want to prove something to break into the team. So, yeah, why not?
  17. I'm not at all sure about this Owen-Smith pairing up front. I don't see England getting much out of it. I have to admit that I'm happy to see Beckham back, though. Putting Lampard out there is a joke, imo. But I'll be interested to see what England can do against Brazil, even in a friendly. My prediction, 2-0 Brazil. (Love, Kaka)
  18. I'm in the same boat. I have no love for Manchester United, but I'll be happy to see Hargreaves in the Premiership. I think that Man U were anxious to sign their targets quickly, so that Chelsea didn't have a chance to hijack them, like they've done in the past.
  19. Ouch, the Argentina one is shockingly bad. Absolutely terrible.
  20. I personally don't like the collars on the Nike shirts, but on the whole that Villa shirt does look pretty nice.
  21. http://img243.imageshack.us/img243/1055/avfcshirtun9.jpg http://bp0.blogger.com/_gJqV5dUNjGY/Rjh_LExexVI/AAAAAAAAAZE/xqjEWzr2to8/s400/blackburn.jpg
  22. I think he could be a good replacement for Parker. If Allardyce thinks he can get something out of him, I'm all for it. We definately need some more goal scoring potential in midfield.
  23. That's when my baby daughter is due She would be awkward wouldn't she! Congratulations.
  24. Sheffield would probably be doomed to relegation this upcoming season at any rate, but that's not the point. West Ham should be deducted points and should be relegated. I'm actually glad that Sheffield is taking a firm stance on this, because the double standard that exists in the league needs to be addressed. But it remains to be seen just how far Sheffield is willing to take this. If they refuse to play in the fizzy-pop league next season, what would become of them?
  25. I rather like the Birmingham shirt. It's the best Umbro effort so far.
