I wouldn't like to say, but if we keep up the pressure anything can happen!
-
Smith is brilliant tonight!
-
1st caution was probably for diving too!!
-
Cheating f***s !!!
-
Good awareness Oba!! We need to keep it up and knock some balls in the box!! Arsenal are vulnerable!
-
GGGOOOOAAAALLLLLL!!!! Taylor!! Come on my son!!!!!
-
WE need better balls in the final 3rd!!
-
Damn right he was fouled!! Same old Arsenal always cheating!!
-
Smith is a striker and not a midfielder - that's why he is playing well!
-
Will Andy Gray stop bumming everything Arsenal do!!!?? He is doing my head in! On a positive note, we don't deserve to be losing and its been a fairly even and good game
-
because he's won so much in his football career So had Dalglish, and Gullit (as both players and managers) and Sir Bobby (as manager) - just shows, winning things elsewhere means nowt when they get here!! To be fair - we would have won something if we had of stuck with Sir B.Robinson. ;( Is he married to Mrs Robinson? Cuz she could have helped us win something!

Yeah quite a few in the midlands area. I contacted the .co.uk site a while back asking to create regional supporters groups, like they've done on the villa website. Newcastles fan base is far and wide and the club should see that and cater for those outside Newcastle. I'd love to go up to more games at St James' than the current average of 1 a season, but it's difficult when nobody around you supports Newcastle. I'm always hoping we draw a midlands side in the cup or have more midlands teams in the prem.

Birmingham all my life - supported Newcastle since I was 6 in 91' but no idea why?! Just stuck with my decision and love the club! Normally get up to St James when we play Villa as most of my mates are Villa supporters - only live down the road.

blank cheque if he's still here...

England 2 - 3 Croatia = FAIL and will not win the World Cup!1!!11

Lets think about the victory or draw first and foremost! -
He had to play Taylor at RB because its a derby, so that's why Beye didn't start. He dropped Beye last week so that Taylor wouldn't be rusty coming into the derby. Disappointing!

Allardyce happy with a draw in a derby - pathetic!!

People who have an opinion and can explain and discuss it. Obviously that's beyond you. I'm not being awkward, I just believe that in football there is a sense of pride in who you support and what they achieve. Pride doesn't go hand in hand with money unless it has been achieved within the club from its own accomplishments whether in business or on the field. If Mike Ashley just spent hundreds of millions of his own money for instant success and with Newcastle's track record it wouldn't be a wise investment anyway. Let the manager do his job and let the players show what they are about on the pitch and let the fans be proud to support the club.

I'm going to say No. Don't get me wrong, winning the league or a cup would be an amazing feeling, but I think dishing out hundreds of millions to get to that place would lose some of the pride from the achievement - which I don't believe any Newcastle supporter would want. You look at Chelsea and see what Roman Abramovich has done to them - from financial woe to instant championship success. Apart from the odd cup, there wasn't really anything that separated Chelsea from Newcastle before there takeover, so I see no reason why we couldn't win all those trophies if in a similar situation, even though we have wasted so much money over the years and we have got nothing out of it. But why would we want that? I don't know how any of you see Chelsea, but all I see when they win something is them just handing over a cheque and receiving a trophy. There is no pride, or at least on the inside i've got to believe. I think we should see where Ashley takes us over the next few years, because I have the belief that we won't just take a tactical approach to winning on the field, but also behind the scenes with Ashley's business mind. I would be proud of us winning a trophy if we haven't just spent 50-60mil per transfer window for the next 2-3 years, but spent wisely - perhaps the Big Sam way? Have faith and don't just settle for a cheque=trophy transaction - that's not what Newcastle are about!
-
The African cup of nations is a godsend in disguise i think! We have quite a lot of players going off to that tourny and Big Sam/Mort will be aware of this. We will look to strengthen anyway in January and when it comes to the armband if Geremi doesn't being 'irreplaceable' by Jan I can see Big Sam using it as an excuse to make someone like Barton the captain until the end of the season.

I concur, Lawro is a tool and a tosser! He really talks a lot of sh*te and has to be one of the worst analysts of the game. Readings goal difference is the second worst in the whole league and we have one of the best strike forces given the right balls played through. How could anyone back Reading, even if our away form hasn't been as good.

I'm assuming it's about the huge Sports Direct banner above Gallowgate End - Can't be missed! I thought I didn't see that before!
-
For sure, but it doesn't take much to be better than Carr! I thought he was a bit nervous at times, but overall did quite well. About as good as Enrique overall. Not the best performances, but good enough to get the job done. We should be celebrating the brilliant CB performances!

I'm just going to put bets in future at Newcastle being involved in 3-1's
-
We look comfortable on the ball now - couldnt say that about the first half
