Thinking about it then it’s very possible they knew they wouldn’t win this battle but sets them up nicely to go to war. Sacrificed a pawn as this guys biased is now in focus and he can’t exert it over proceedings or they’ll be all over it making the judgement to not replace him look the wrong one. It may be a decent secondary outcome, but the overall aim was to remove him. That didn’t happen. His bias may be in focus, but on the flip side you could say it makes him/PL very aware of it so if there is any dodgy dealings, they’ll be very carefully covered up rather than an accidental mishap caused by complacency. This wasn’t a win. It was a loss. It’s good to see the club are intent on progressing it and it’s clear the club are willing to push this all of the way. All of which is good news. But we don’t need to try and twist/seek out positive news from every development It was most obviously a WIN for us.

That's a low enough bar to give a limboing ant problems. To be fair I’ve been consistent throughout this in my position and guess what it’s still very much on. The club have confirmed it’s not about compensation and the Saudis are still waiting to complete. Who’d have thought aye. I am so pleased that I never went on the "always look on the down side" or the "always seek to routinely criticise anyone who doesn't always look on the down side" training Courses !! The way some people think, and post on here, is amazing.

I have to respond to this sorry like and it will be my final word on subject. I’m not goading anyone and was simply pointing out that if certain posters are saying the takeover is over based on this U.S intelligence report then fine, but these same posters have claimed it’s been over for moths yet still feel the need to read about something they think is over ? Certain posters feel the need to keep repeating that it’s over, I find that more bizarre than any of my positivity. If I thought something was over I wouldn’t waste anymore of my time on it. As for gdm the bloke comes into the positivity thread attempting to call people out all the time, then when you try and humour him and debate back, sticks his little insults in when he doesn’t like the way it’s going, as exampled last night by his little loopy emojis when he starts to get annoyed. If you’re going to dish it expect it back, he wouldn’t last 2 minutes on somewhere like ‘skunkers’ in the old days. As for being goaded, no one is goaded more than myself on here. However, I take it in good spirit and try to have a laugh where possible. I certainly don’t go running asking for anyone to be banned, and treat this place as a bit of light relief during lockdown. However, I’m absolutely deadly serious when it comes to one matter.....the takeover will happen mark my words folks, and I’ll even be happy for the likes of gdm and Shaun when it does, as we’re all Mags at the end of the day. It will be very difficult for some on here to understand that nothing (relevant) has changed and that the Takeover WILL STILL HAPPEN !!!

Me and WM are not related actually, but one thing we do have in common is the fact that we are both totally correct in our understanding of what will be the outcome of this Takeover. My advice to all the 'waverers' is to just . . . . W A I T People should seriously hope we are correct, because the alternative doesn’t bare thinking about. Even if we stay up the noises already are that there’ll be no money to spend, and that’s the best case scenario. Should we get relegated you can bet your life Bruce will not be paid off, and will get the job to bring us back up. I’d even predict should the mackems come up, they’d spend more than us and probably with momentum of promotion have a better season. In either scenario that won’t be a club I’ll be supporting any longer. Luckily my view is Ashley has already abandoned ship and we’ll have our club back soon. The only question is which division that’ll be in. I see this Takeover by Staveley/Reubens/PIF as the only real chance we will have to see our club become everything that I have known (all my life) that it is capable of being. It is such an excellent thing that this group of people have been able to realise how great - and unique - we can be with the right support (with 'their' support) and this fact of them and us together is what is making them REFUSE to give in. They are behaving how I would behave if I was in their position . . and yet they are not (historically) NUFC supporters like I am, like WE (on here) are - but they are not giving up, they are F I G H T I N G for our future. Whatever their original motivations for picking us were, they are now still in there, fighting for our (ours and theirs) future. Her company already hold a number of investment portfolios whereby sovereign wealth funds have holdings. PCP don’t necessarily need to have 1 major backer to enable deal to happen. As I said previously though she believes ideally you need major money to be able to compete, hence getting the Saudis on board. She will buy the club with a view to running it sustainably and hopefully getting PIF back involved once promoted. Keep going with the insults though I’m enjoying this ? Yes, it is full of "easily influenced" people, particularly whenever there are no 'leaks' about the Takeover for them to "believe" or to "rubbish" !! The very best times for our Takeover are when it is totally quiet, as that is the ONLY way that progress (legal and/or arbitration etc) on our Takeover can happen. That IS exactly what is happening at the moment - as logic surely dictates.

And ban those who say “it will happen” like it’s a fact too ? Not really, as the ongoing quietness (that worries a lot of people) is evidence that legal action is happening behind the scenes and (taking into account the people involved) it is going to ultimately be successful.

We have played in the Champions League at least three times, and have played over a hundred European Matches in all three European Club Competions . . . (1) - "European Cup / Champions League". (2) - "Europa League / European Fairs Cup / UEFA Cup" (3) - "European Cup Winners Cup". We have a very strong European Football Heritage, as former winners of one of them! Yet, even all that may not count much. Yes, we need this Takeover !!!!!!
