There have been rumours that the Staveley/PIF/Reubens Takeover Consortium may have a stake in Castore in the form of one of the three members, the Reubens. Last time I heard, it was just a rumour about the Reubens, it may have been confirmed (or denied) by now though.

Yes indeed, I often think about what it will be like. Serious enthusiasm, interest and ambition back again, shown by the club, shown by the supporters, and shown very frequently in all forms and parts of the Media. All we have to do is wait, and THIS will all be ours. Enjoy.

They don't know this, they just write as if they do. Nobody knows "when", all we know is that it "will happen". That the logic of it, anyway!

Having an NUST presence on the board, even when we get our great new (Staveley/PIF/Reubens) owners, is a great idea. It takes the club to an even 'higher level' than it even will be after the Takeover. I wouldn't hitherto have thought that possible!! After the Takeover we will not "need" fan involvement in the club, on the board, but (if this works) we WILL have it, and it will just feel great. It is a superb idea and plan, and I'm sure our new owners would like to come out right now to say they support this, but things are (as we all know) at a 'legally delicate' stage at the moment . . . The news just keeps on getting better, hopefully there will not be too much of a negative response to this from some quarters?

I am sure he was most definitely not referring to our late equaliser . . though he was using it as a (sort of) 'cover', if questioned.

If you look at what I say, I am mostly just stating facts, many of which get happily ignored (and replaced with unsubstantiated and oft-repeated 'opinions') by the permanently downbeat amongst us. Facts are facts. Occasionally I will refer to the future (eg "when our new owners are finally approved" etc) which I do not need to say 'are not facts', because (obviously) I am talking about things that have not happened yet.

Where do you get this "Championship Club" idea - like it is some kind of 'permanent' thing - from? Hopefully we will not be relegated, but even if we are it will not really change anything about the club, particularly under the new owners. Surely that is obvious, do you really think they will try to convert us and preserve us into this "Championship Club Thing"? The answer is NO, they will not.

It is often "said" that a new deal would need to be made in the event of our relegation. Did Ashley say that? Did PIF say that? Did the Reubens say that? Did Staveley say that?

No, I have not forgotten that, or any of the other 20,000 other things that have been said since the sale to the Consortium was announced.

I am not an optimist, I am (still) a realist. Think back to when this Takeover was announced. We got to know the calibre (financial and otherwise) of the people who had bought our club, and we got to know that the club had been SOLD. What was then needed was the Premier League to approve our new owners. THAT is still where we are at today, and the arbitration process will push this forward again, until our new owners are finally approved, which will inevitably happen.

Keep the faith, all will be well, though right now (Ashley / Bruce / Relegation concerns) it is indeed hard to do so.

Where has all this ridiculous and illogical "The Takeover is Dead" rubbish suddenly coming from again?? It is total 'invented' rubbish! The main current fact that we actually KNOW about, is that Arbitration is soon going to happen . . . that means it IS NOT DEAD. Get a grip! We just need to (still, I know . . . ) W A I T.
