  1. Are they not going through the motions arbitration wise? Ben Jacobs seems to think it's underway. Ben, I believe, was referring to the overall process, including the preparation phase. As far as I know, there has been no mention of the actual hearing commencing. My blindly optimistic theory is that all parties involved are now confident that a deal will be reached without the need for arbitration and we’re going to hear the big announcement suddenly in the next fortnight. And Amanda’s name on her zoom screen at the online press conference will be “Cabbage oot”. Seems the most likely outcome at present
  2. It is hard work all this 'waiting', but it can't be much longer now!
  3. Actually, I think this is the "official announcement" (confirmation) that we have been wating for.
  4. The images were there a few hours ago, but they are not there now.
  5. Unfortunately Yorkie what may be tedious to some is interesting to others, no one is forcing you to read it. Like it or not this bloke has a legal action pending with the PL, the PL will not want some information disclosed into the public domain, and thereby his action is a very real threat to them. So whether you think he is central to all this or a peripheral figure, any bits of info from someone in contact with buyer and seller is useful at this point. Jesus man, all Yorkie said was that it’s tedious people keep talking about him, meaning he’s sick of people arguing if what he says and does is good or bad. For what it’s worth I believe the people in the tweets are just pointing out something a lot of people will be thinking. The guy is spending a lot of money on legal action. Ok he might be able to afford it, but unless he’s a multimillionaire in which case he’s be in the top 1% of the countries earners, losing up to £500k is a blow that he would be effected by. £50k (which is how much he has spent so far) to many of us is a hell of a lot of money. He’s up against the Premier League who themselves are multi-billion pound organisation who will likely have the backing of 6 other billionaires who would be happy to go toe toe with him financially in order to prevent the takeover of they so wished. Are they right in warning him about losing his money? Aye. You keep saying would you say that in the pub to him if you can? Aye I would, I’d explain it to him that he could lose that money. Ultimately it’s his choice to take that advice, but if he turned around and swung a punch at me for saying it, like you keep suggestion, then everyone in the pub would think that he would be the w***** for doing so. Also, his attitude about how he has put his money in his pockets and he can afford it etc in his latest tweets is very condescending. Aye ok he seems to be in a place where he can afford it, and apparently through his hard graft, but a lot more people would do similar if they had the money. As I have pointed out in the past, plenty of members both on here and elsewhere have put a lot of money into efforts to shift Ashley, their losses aren’t published, so it’s not like others already haven’t. Lastly and perhaps most importantly, if he can easily afford this £50k he’s currently spent and can afford and is willing to spend £500k, why did he initially put the begging bowl out? You can’t put the begging bowl out, get stood up, then say it doesn’t matter because you are rich as f*** in anyway. It comes across as the condescending act he’s portrayed in terms of flirting his his wealth and costs. As far as I’m aware that was the wor fund group, it was only after that folded did Keith and Gordon Stein get involved. He’s since explained that if he’d been able to link season ticket holders to his action, then his legal advice is that it would already have got to court. Let’s bear in mind Robert O’Donoghue is one of the very best QC’s in relation to competition law so should know what he’s talking about. I don’t doubt others have made sacrifices in other ways, certainly people like Greg from NUST give up their own time freely. However, in my eyes this guy and Gordon Stein stand alone in the level of personal and financial risk they have exposed themselves to. I can only speak for myself, but even if i was a millionaire I doubt I would take on board this level of risk. Very clearly summarised, excellent. Will that explanation have any impact on the bedroom warriors getting their kicks? It will not! I hasten to add that not all of Keith's critics are bedroom warriors, but a number of those on Twitter certainly come across that way.
  6. Waiting is difficult for some people. They need 'news', 'updates', 'leaks' to sustain their belief. I understand that. Seriously, in something as ultimately confrontational and legal as the Premier League have turned our takeover into, the most progress will ONLY be made when there is none of the above. I still focus in on just how very amazing it will be - day after day after day after day, for ever more - after this is all finalised. Worth waiting for? Good grief YESSS !!!
  7. I say it how I feel, and that is how I feel. Just wait . . .
  8. Cheers Scoot, back and refreshed for the final push. Good to have you back, been a bit lonely here! Yes, "the final push" sums up exactly where we are now at! A logical decision by the moderators in the end manorpark ! The fact the arbitration hearing has not began points to one thing, compromise and this being passed. Why would the consortium/Ashley be keen to wait at this point, because they know the ramifications of Bein being reinstated and the legal cases being dropped. Our positivity and realism will proved well founded my friend. Inshallah! Yours and Manorpark's posts have been what's kept the lights on for toon fans mate, not really interested in hearing the cold water brigade alternative right now. While there's even a glimmer of hope the takeover will still happen I will keep believing. The alternative just isn't something I want to think about at this point. If ever. Agree completely I’m out for good if this doesn’t go through. If Bein is restored in Saudi Arabia there is no legitimate reason for blocking this takeover any longer. The Burnley takeover sham makes a mockery of Masters claims that they are protecting the club. How in anyway in our current guise could we be any worse off, the current version of NUFC suits them perfectly. Gazumped by Liverpool for a defender on deadline day and giving game time to an Arsenal youngster. The establishment don’t want this takeover, but they’ve underestimated the will of all involved to make this happen. Yes, this WILL happen, and happen soon. So much hard work by people who are (quite simply) "used to winning in business", the 'dream team' of Reuben Bros / PIF / Staveley, will inevitably pay off. My favourite phrase is . . "all WE have to do is wait" . . but (as I also often add) just pause right now and think about "how great it will shortly be". Yes, I would have preferred it quicker, but it is going to be worth the wait, and quite amazing when you add the three groups I mention (Reuben Bros / PIF / Staveley) to the FOURTH GROUP . . . . . . wait for it . . . N U F C !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. Yes, can people not just forgive his mistakes and focus in on what he (Keith) is genuinly trying to do? He is trying to help achieve what we all want, so let's support him instead of picking up on aspects we don't like and pulling him to bits.
  11. If you stick your head above the parapet and really try to do some good, sadly you will get it shot off. Many people will look for the 'smallest thing' (probably the most irrelevant thing) to use to exageratedly pull you to bits. I know who I prefer to listen to, and why, about this.
  12. Yes, I will avoid "the shite" even when I am attacked, as I accept the point you made on the other thread that a 'response' is as annoying as the attack!
  13. When Mike Ashley refused to lower the price watch it fast become an issue. No one is spending £360m on a championship club I genuinely believe the landscape is such at the minute that even Ashley would cut his losses. Last time we went down he had to loan the club 40 to 60 million. With the current losses even greater due to Covid I think your talking an even greater amount. We know he’s a gambler but promotion for a 3rd time at the 1st attempt ? He’s not a complete fool, I think he would maybe accept 200 million, and a further payment on promotion. It’s also been rumoured of sweeteners for Fraser group branching out into Saudi. That’s 3 respected journalists now confirming relegation is not a deal breaker, obviously no one wants relegation but potentially a safety blanket if the worst happens. Hope you are right. It would be peak Newcastle to finally get the dream takeover and get relegated You know what at this point I’d take Saudi ownership in the championship, as opposed to Ashley in the premiership. We’d have the finance to compete straight away on promotion, and the excitement level would be back. But let’s hope it doesn’t come to that and we survive. Yes, as I mentioned earlier today, I think other poor teams will help keep us up this season! That the same poor teams who've won the following points over the last five league games? Sheff Utd: 6 WBA: 3 Fulham: 3 Brighton: 5 NUFC: FUCK ALL Burnley: 9 Yes, those ones, exactly. Poor teams like us and those ones you list, do not often go on 'significantly long' runs of good performances. That would be unusual.
  14. Yes, the Admin posts are excellent, and will help a lot. I actually love how you continue to argue while at the same time saying you "will not", and also I love how you say that your insults are actually 'beliefs'. Excellent stuff. Anyway, I look forward to you debating sensibly and without 'beliefs' !!

  16. When Mike Ashley refused to lower the price watch it fast become an issue. No one is spending £360m on a championship club It is unlikely that we would become "a Championship Club" even if we were relegated. We would "be in the Championship" for hopefully only the one season, but we would not qualify to be labelled "a Championship Club" in the way that many perennial Championship Clubs are. I think it is important to remember this, when considering any impact on the sale price of the club! Actually, I do not think we will be relegated anyway, though it really "feels like it" at the moment. I think that - this season - we will be saved by other clubs beneath us. What are you talking about? Seriously, come on, you can work that out surely? Or, are you just trying to make a really very silly point? You are deluded. I’m not arguing with you. If we get relegated the value of the club drops rapidly. We rightly slaughter Sunderland fans for those we ain’t really a championship/league 1 club views when clearly they are. Even with a takeover and a good manager there is no guarantee we come straight back up Discussions with you are very difficult. Instead of referring to 'discussions' you call them 'arguments' (as you just have again) then you add in insults, such as 'deluded' (on this occasion) etc etc. You are wrong about things, but I am still happy to discuss things with you . . . you never know, one day I might get through to you!

  19. A f***ing field day of celebrating whilst others are doing the same? Woo. Radical. Do you seriously think there's any member on here that does not want to be taken over? Just because we're not all fully fledged members of that Keith Daftcunt Brigade doesn't mean we want it any less. That daft c*** is doing a lot more than yourself. You just sit back and let it play out, we’ll ignore the fact he is in contact with vital players in this process. Well, I'm not going out of my way to sensationalise nor give anyone false hope, so there is that. You'd have maintained far more credibility if you didn't engage because, every time you do, a little bit of belief you know what you're doing disappears forever. Your patter on here is also relentlessly boring. If you've got positive ITK then share it, if you're just a signed up member to shout 'soon' then know that it's reassuring no fucker. Always enjoy reading Whitley Mag, Rocky, Scotty66, reefatoon and others who try and look forward to the good times ahead with their lively posts. Honest debate is what this forum is all about. The many positive rants will always bring out the opposite feelings in others. I doubt many, if any, don't want this takeover to happen, its just that having seen so many disasterous attempts previously, people naturally feel this is going to be yet another one. I for one, though, enjoy the positive vibes of the many posters who, may not offer any itk info but through the many tweets, articles, hearsay etc try to make our day that much more cheerful. Yes, members have just as much right to disagree/disregard these posts and this is what makes the forum so interesting...lively debate. What I can't stand are the posters who deliberately wind up people just to get a reaction...fortunately these are few and far between. Let's continue with the heated dialogue, keep it civilised, whichever point of view you follow and lets hope it all ends up positively...oh and f*** off Bruce. Excellent post Jinky !
  20. This sums up the "inferiority complex" that almost all of the 'negatives' on here suffer from. It is such a shame, mainly for them, that their thought processes are so controlled by their automatic sense of inferiority. ME, I am the exact opposite of that. This is the great football club called Newcastle United, in one of the great Regional Capital cities of the UK, Newcastle upon Tyne. Inferior we are NOT, hence (now that we are allied with a quality set of buyers) we will undoubtedly win this battle. Just W A I T. If you carefully read the highlighted part of the post I quoted, by 'CalmintheChaos', you will see what I mean. It is very clear in that post.

  22. No. But it will almost certainly rule out a deal being done without the need for arbitration. If they are still blocked, then its off to arbitration. We should win that and apparently have very strong evidence (which I can completely believe), the only downside to that is if we and the PL can't agree on the 3rd arbitrator, then it'll be someone from the FA. No prizes who you think they will side with. If that fails, the NCSL will have their legal battle. At this point we'll probably be in the Championship, the season will most definitely be over at least. So God knows what will happen then. But that's the apparent road map of how it will play out from now on in. So basically so much still in the balance . Could go either way yet we still have the clowns on here saying it’s definitely going ahead. Logical bollocks Whitley park The way to look at it is that the end is near either way and everyone can then put it to bed and move on whatever is decided. True. Can’t wait till it’s over either way You’re never out of here, if it’s causing you so much angst give yourself a break. You come across as a complete fanny A bit ironic considering you have made this the Whitley Mag (or should that be Keith) thread ffs, you post non stop bollocks in here all day every day Alright Sean, i’m honoured you consider this the Whitley Mag thread. Feel free to keep posting in it I admire you’re staunch negativity. I'm honoured to be part of this, the "Whitley mag Thread"
  23. Wait. Patience. Good things are coming. Future. Tanks. Logical. Extremely Logical !
  24. I'm pretty sure they live in the same house so you're probably right. Which one is called Keith? No flip flopping with me lads. My position remains unchanged this changes nothing. All this reading into a tin pot coaching appointment and linking it with takeover will be proven to be illogical. I’m not prepared to spend time counselling the disbelievers any further though, it’s still very much on and I will be proven correct in not to distant future. Same as ever, all we have to do (and I know some find this 'difficult' for some reason) is to . . . W A I T !!!!
