When the Takeover is approved it will be "sudden", without warning. At least, that is how it will seem to us as we are not in the loop and there are now no leaks. But none of us know whether it will happen tomorrow, next week or next year (or 'when' next year) but it will happen.

Mine was 2 days ago and the answer is no. Although I've become quite the fan of such a low key birthday. Never really enjoyed the fuss. Happy birthday. Thank you Mine is on Christmas Eve, so I know what this is like!! I can still remenber all the relatives (when I was a kid) saying "we haven't got you two presents, but we've got you a bigger Christmas Present" - Yeah, right !!!!! This year I have asked for a 'Takeover' . . . I've searched the cupboards at home and I haven't found one hidden away yet . There's still time . . .

I’ll champion this to the day it’s officially dead. I think what’s clear here is that the MP involvement is about transparency. The major fear im picking up on is that they’re worried the PL will try and dismiss this via a closed doors panel with no transparency. These lads are trying to keep the public pressure on, and as a fanbase we should be doing everything to support this. The clubs dead as a dodo if this doesn’t go through. It is difficult to tolerate the 'quiet / no news' situation that we are in right now. Believe me, I experience that too! Sometimes, that lack of news makes people think that nothing is happening and that the takeover is 'being forgotten about' - so will not succeed. The long wait seems endless . . . Whenever that thought occurs to me I think about the people who are ACTIVELY involved in getting this done - Staveley, The Reubens, PIF, Ashley (yes Ashley!!) Di Marco, The Newcastle Consortium Supporters . . . and so I KNOW that we will win. We will win. And boy will we deserve it by then !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm jesting, but its what they deserve. I do tend to agree, the 1997 proposals for 'Castle Leazes Moor' should have been more forcibly supported by our City Council.

You want it "outside of the City"? Or, do you just mean "outside of the City Centre"? I do not think that moving it outside of our great City, into Gateshead, North Tyneside, Sunderland, or South Tyneside, is a very good idea at all !!

What are you on about man? Of course people can think that it's off. They're just choosing to listen to different information to what you choose to listen to. Not everyone has to believe journalists. Personally, I believe Ashley and AS still want the takeover to happen. I also believe that it's highly unlikely to happen, and given that it's looking like the only way it can happen is by essentially bringing down the PL I think you'll be waiting a VERY long time (if ever). You shouting all of this "IT'S ONLY LOGICAL THAT IT'S ON" bollocks is as tedious as Sean's tyre kicker Staveley and HTT's 3pm Friday chat. I never believe journalists (obviously) and there is no "logical" reason to think that the Takeover is off (none at all) but I know that some people do find reasons (if 'reason' is the right word) to think like that. MOST that do say that though are definitely on the wind-up . . as it is so illogical and really impossible to come to that conclusion using intellect and reason.

Is it actually being built? The market for commercial real estate is on its arse. Whatever the use- retail, office, student housing- all have taken an absolute beating. Yeah Radisson red hotel has been given go ahead. I agree we will need to relocate and Castle Leazes is still the best and only city centre site now viable. I can’t see a problem with relocating to Castle Leazes, of course there’ll be nimbys but with Leazes Terrace opened up and St James used to create a new and usable park it could benefit the whole city. This is eaxactly what the 1997 proposals were. I would not be in the least bit surprised if he returned with a bit of a bang in the near future. Can't deny that as each silent day passes, I give up that little bit more. Been said a thousand times before but i wish there was just some finality to this, either way. There is , just accept its over , the Pl is rigged , football is bloated and corrupt . Act accordingly ... Our people involved are far too good, far too capable, far too used to 'winning' to be beaten on this. It is just a matter of time . . though I know that 'patience' is difficult at times !

100% This is all just noise! PL don't seem rattled all and feel very comfortable with their case. The positivity has 100% left the building. Yes, I think the Premier League will sound 100% positive and comfortable with their case . . . right up until the minute - the very minute - that the whole thing collapses around their corrupt arses. Now, that can be in court, or it can be out of court - but it is absolutely inevitable. BOY it will be enjoyable for us all.

We already know we're only getting loans, and we currently look as if we're gonna fluke safety again. This will roll on through summer 2021 and everyone will think it's close then it'll fail again. The be back on again. Then off again. This is us for the next 5 years I reckon. Very unlikely!

That must have been 50% of their results in league one Apparently 31 of their last 56 games have ended 1-1. They are now a well established 3rd Division Club. That doesn't mean that they will always be able to avoid the 4th Division though !!
