Me and WM are not related actually, but one thing we do have in common is the fact that we are both totally correct in our understanding of what will be the outcome of this Takeover. My advice to all the 'waverers' is to just . . . . W A I T People should seriously hope we are correct, because the alternative doesn’t bare thinking about. Even if we stay up the noises already are that there’ll be no money to spend, and that’s the best case scenario. Should we get relegated you can bet your life Bruce will not be paid off, and will get the job to bring us back up. I’d even predict should the mackems come up, they’d spend more than us and probably with momentum of promotion have a better season. In either scenario that won’t be a club I’ll be supporting any longer. Luckily my view is Ashley has already abandoned ship and we’ll have our club back soon. The only question is which division that’ll be in. I see this Takeover by Staveley/Reubens/PIF as the only real chance we will have to see our club become everything that I have known (all my life) that it is capable of being. It is such an excellent thing that this group of people have been able to realise how great - and unique - we can be with the right support (with 'their' support) and this fact of them and us together is what is making them REFUSE to give in. They are behaving how I would behave if I was in their position . . and yet they are not (historically) NUFC supporters like I am, like WE (on here) are - but they are not giving up, they are F I G H T I N G for our future. Whatever their original motivations for picking us were, they are now still in there, fighting for our (ours and theirs) future. THAT is why I have always known that they - and us - will ultimately succeed. Keep the faith people!

Yes, it is full of "easily influenced" people, particularly whenever there are no 'leaks' about the Takeover for them to "believe" or to "rubbish" !! The very best times for our Takeover are when it is totally quiet, as that is the ONLY way that progress (legal and/or arbitration etc) on our Takeover can happen. That IS exactly what is happening at the moment - as logic surely dictates.

And ban those who say “it will happen” like it’s a fact too ? Not really, as the ongoing quietness (that worries a lot of people) is evidence that legal action is happening behind the scenes and (taking into account the people involved) it is going to ultimately be successful.

We have played in the Champions League at least three times, and have played over a hundred European Matches in all three European Club Competions . . . (1) - "European Cup / Champions League". Are they not going through the motions arbitration wise? Ben Jacobs seems to think it's underway. Ben, I believe, was referring to the overall process, including the preparation phase. As far as I know, there has been no mention of the actual hearing commencing. My blindly optimistic theory is that all parties involved are now confident that a deal will be reached without the need for arbitration and we’re going to hear the big announcement suddenly in the next fortnight. And Amanda’s name on her zoom screen at the online press conference will be “Cabbage oot”. Seems the most likely outcome at present

A logical decision by the moderators in the end manorpark ! The fact the arbitration hearing has not began points to one thing, compromise and this being passed. Why would the consortium/Ashley be keen to wait at this point, because they know the ramifications of Bein being reinstated and the legal cases being dropped. When Mike Ashley refused to lower the price watch it fast become an issue. No one is spending £360m on a championship club I genuinely believe the landscape is such at the minute that even Ashley would cut his losses. Last time we went down he had to loan the club 40 to 60 million. With the current losses even greater due to Covid I think your talking an even greater amount. We know he’s a gambler but promotion for a 3rd time at the 1st attempt ? He’s not a complete fool, I think he would maybe accept 200 million, and a further payment on promotion. It’s also been rumoured of sweeteners for Fraser group branching out into Saudi. That’s 3 respected journalists now confirming relegation is not a deal breaker, obviously no one wants relegation but potentially a safety blanket if the worst happens. Hope you are right.
