  1. Exactamundo, would be a cracking signing on loan, with the option to buy, or not to buy if he's tosh, Lens haven't got much option but to let him go, and the club being associated with him is? West bleeding Brom. He's much better than any SPL s*** we are being quoted with. Marseille and Tottenham are apparently in for Poldolski, surely we aren't that far behind them? Tottenham want Defoe and someone else who escapes my attention atm, so doesn't seem likely. Marseille won't be able to afford it unless they sell Cissé to the mackems, which won't happen until the summer if at all, Munich want near 10 million straight. Think it would be a good oppourtunity. Can't see Man city wanting Poldolski, and he desperately wants out of Munich. Why not? What sort of player is Dindane? An unobtainable one.
  2. If that's what the manager wants then that's what the club should do. It is in line with the "summer transfer" policy though AKA whole squad up for sale/being forced out. Not really as Kinnear will be selling players to bring in players that he wants and if he wants to sell Jonas and Colo to sign Ferguson and Diop then good for him. As long as the club are letting the manager have the final say then it's a good thing. The whole team was up for grabs on transfer deadline day in the summer, we had the embarrassing situation of Joey Barton texting Jim White on SSN saying he is not going anywhere, just to nip him being forced out in the bud. JFK is not selling the players, the ED(F) is, he is doing that to raise funds because the owner is not using his own wedge to buy players, they are buying players they all think can improve the team now & in the short term keep the club up. The collective will be doing this. We cant have a 5 year vision while we are in a relegation battle. Everyone turns to old heads at a time of need KK brought Kilkline & Sheedy in, Arry brought a stack of knowns in from Spurs when at Pompey, Bruce at Birmingham brought in Dugarry. I think it would be great if the club went out signed Chrisantus & Kroos but now is not the time. The rumour about all of the players being up for sale is just that, a rumour. As for Barton, it was Keegan who got him to text SSN and say he was staying and there wasn't even a club in for him, the only thing he was doing at St James was watching the reserves. Anything negative about that summer you dismiss. I remember at the time Pompey being linked Barton. Where did you get all that stuff from? That journalist that posts on the Rovers forum said that he made that rumour up. It was stupid thinking back, something like Barton going to Portsmouth and Diarra going to Spurs. What the fuck was in it for us? I hate transfer windows.
  3. Xisco speaks english though. Like a load of people have already said, it's got to be personal. You sure? I've never seen him speak. Hmmm, you may be right then. I was sure I'd seen some clips of him speaking english when he got here.
  4. Xisco speaks english though. Like a load of people have already said, it's got to be personal.
  5. Some the people that are saying they were sitters most probably haven't kicked a ball in their lives.
  6. Hull are improving, but Newcastle aren't. We had a full strength side out don'tcherknow. Just fuck off you stupid bint, Louise. Just fuck off.
  7. Maybe the problem is that our midfield can't actually attack. Was Lafita basing that on one season though? If you read Xisco's stats he only really had season 2007-08 in La Liga A (which looked like a good season for him). Most of his other goals and appearances were in La Liga B. Yeah.. it's the only time them two have played together and as I recall it was about 15-20 games together they played.
  8. Although I agree overall with your post, I'd have to disagree with the bit in bold. He's a great header of the ball and got a fair few goals like this in La Liga. He was also good at holding up the ball. A good targetman striker really. There's an article somewhere from when Xisco was still at Depor and the midfielder Lafita said of him: Maybe the problem is that our midfield can't actually attack.
  9. My user name is Thespence not NE5 (Not necessarily saying you have got us mixed up though). In the statement it did mention "turmoil on and off the pitch" which is very sad, does it mean he thinks we lack quality? the size of the squad is small?. I am not 100% sure all Man Utd fans said stuff him. I know quite a few Man Utd fans (none actually with any connection to Manchester itself, like) and every single one had that attitude towards the thought of C. Ronaldo leaving for Real Madrid. it's as if they had no connection to the player or what he achieved last season. There's no doubt that Fergie had a massive influence on the player that he's become, but still.
  10. Why oh why did we offer this clown a new deal? He'll sign it. He's allowed one when he's played so many games I thought. Ah yeah, forgot about that. Can we just stop him signing it then? Those stewards from level 7 should do it. They'll just make him sign it sat down.
  11. I don't know what he's thinking. I honestly didn't see the early games when Xisco was playing, so I can't comment on how he looked, but it's absolute madness to not put him on today, considering that he has scored goals for us. He can't be that bad in training can he? I never saw him play in Spain but he was shocking in his few appearances for us in September. Agreed His performances were nowhere near as poor as Shola and Vidukas recent performances. He played badly, but who didn't in them games?
  12. I'm actually hoping for a minor injury to one of our strikers just to see if Xisco will be given the nod.
  13. So he's proud of having us teetering 2 points off the relegation zone by New Year, with a squad boasting genuine quality like Michael Owen, Martins, Beye, Given, Nicky Butt, Jonas. The guy's a f***ing clown. How anyone can't be thoroughly f***ing sick of this utter muppet taking our team forward is beyond me. Makes me vom, the idea that this is the guy who is our current pioneer. He's a knob. And i know there's no one better and he's better than Hughton, blah blah blah, but i mean someone on here summed it up earlier on. "I think he's done a better job than any of us could." Oh right, that's alright then, thank f*** we didn't appoint a total amateur from an internet message board with no footballing experience whatsoever. We'd really be in the s*** then. Funny thing is Keegan had a similar record at the end of last season and most seen it as being great. Spot on baggio. Can't see why everyone is being so f***ing ungrateful. Ungrateful? So who else would have come to save us? f***ing superman? f*** no. Fact is kinnear had the bollocks to go for the job, where as many, many c***s turned it down. He was what, 17th choice? What else do you f***ing expect? So, why exactly should we be grateful? Because it could have been much worse. A bit of Denis Wise? I'm sure you'd all love that 'You'd all' refers to who exactly? No, I wouldn't have loved that, for the same reason that I don't love Kinnear. They're both s*** managers. I'm still not entirely sure how 'it could have been worse' can be seen as a reason to be grateful to a man that has done very little. Bit like keegan in his second spell then. Difference is that Keegan brought us into the premiership and kept us up. He also saved us from falling into the 3rd tier of football in his first season. He may not have set many fires in his second spell but for what he's done I'll always respect Keegan much more than Joe Kinnear who will never achieve the kind of league finishes that Keegan did.
  14. Well since they expressed an interest in taking charge of us yes I do. That's all I'm basing it on, the fact that these managers came out and said they'd like to have a go.

What else do you f***ing expect? How about Descamps & Zico who both expressed an interest. Oh yeah.. and that Turkish coach, what was his name? Kinnear owes us if anything. Without us what other club would have brought him back into management? We may be in the shits now and over the last few seasons but not too long ago who used to be a massive club in the champions league, UEFA and we've consistently had world class players over the last 10-15 years. He'll never get the chance to manage a club as big as this again, even if we are looking an absolute state right now.
  16. It's more than just a quality keeper we'll miss, it's a member of the dressing room that's seen 11 years at this club. He's as much a part of Newcastle as the stadium, the atmosphere and the constant up and downs. Losing him would be a massive sign of where this club is heading and will be nothing other than detrimental.
  17. We haven't been able to cope with injuries for years, as soon as we have any our complete lack of depth becomes apparent.
  18. Still out? b******. I thought he'd have made this one with Kinnear saying he was about 50/50 to play in the Wigan game. “Beye’s on crutches and you’d think he’s going to be out at least three weeks. “Viduka’s got a torn groin muscle, and I’d think he would be at least three weeks as well. “Oba Martins will be at least two weeks minimum. “We already know Joey Barton is down, and with Nicky Butt going down against Liverpool, who knows what the team will be at Hull? “I can’t see any of the injured players coming back. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/nufc/newcastle-united-news/2008/12/29/newcastle-set-for-hectic-transfer-window-kinnear-72703-22566437/ Hadn't seen that, cheers. Given Taylor - Coloccini - Bassong - N'Zogbia Jonas - Geremi - Guthrie - Duff Xisco - Owen Subs: Harper, Edgar, Kadar, Doninger, Lua Lua, Carroll, Ameobi Why people continue to pick Xisco in their starting line up ahead of Carroll, Ameobi ( Late fitness test ) or anyone is beyond me. He has played a few times and has been worse than Rossi was from what I have seen. Its strongly rumored he was so rubbish its part of the reason Keegan went mental and left. Kinnear obviously doesn`t rate him either. Carroll and Ameobi have at least been average this season. I reckon at a guess Ranger would be more worthy of a place in the team than Xisco So because you've only seen him a few times and in your opinion is worse than Rossi, again based on seeing him a few times, he shouldn't be given a chance? I'll base my opinion of him and the reason for putting him in the starting line up on more than a few games. It's the FA cup aswell.. we don't have the squad depth to play our best possible XI week in week out as just a few injuries have shown us. Plus it'd give him a chance to prove himself worthy of some kind of first team place. He's a decent player from what I saw from his last season in La Liga. I highly doubt the reason that Keegan walked out was because he was 'so rubbish' Yeah sorry he is the next Raul with his 1 goal to 2 games ratio in the Canary Islands 2nd divsion when he was 20 yrs old. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1052723/Xisco-Dont-blame-Keegan-farce--I-just-want-score-Newcastle.html Xisco's signing is believed to have been a major factor in Keegan's resignation after Newcastle's director of football Dennis Wise and his assistant Tony Jimenez organised the deal for the striker. http://icnewcastle.icnetwork.co.uk/newcastleunited/sundaysun/2008/09/05/the-reasons-why-kevin-keegan-resigned-72703-21681798/ He certainly made it clear that he was not interested in the signing of Spanish Under-21 international Xisco. How many times has Jk used him since he was back from injury too ? I stick by what I said, My opinion is not based just on what little we have all seen of him but by that, 2 managers opinions and what I have read about him stats etc I feel Carroll and Ameobi are better suited to the Prem. The FA Cup is more physical too. Ok then.. you've given me two articles as your evidence. Fair enough. Neither have any actual quotes from either manager writing off Xisco so could be complete conjecture and I see one is written by Alan Oliver, the oracle of NUFC truth. Have a word. And also saying that I think that a player who impressed in his La Liga games (I've underlined that, since you ignored that the first time) scoring 5 goals in his first two games following his loan and proving a promising target man who although isn't filled with goals, will help provide them and work for the team looks better than Shola "Got a brand new hip" Ameobi and Andy Carroll is hardly the same as saying that he's the next Raul. Grow up. Also I wouldn't base footballing opinion on what Kinnear says, the man rates Duff highly and it took an injury for N'Zogbia to get in the team. I wouldn't be surprised if Xisco being left out was more personal reasons, like Roeder and Luque but we'll never know.
  19. Can birds fly? hehe hes faster then Martins imo I'd like to see that race I reckon Martins is faster. I'd say so aswell Martins doesn't use his pace well though. For someone so quick, how many times do you see him running clear of the last defender? Thats true, i wonder why that is. He's also a slow dribbler because he takes too many touches, Henry would kick it in front of him and catch up with the ball, Martins needs to learn to do that if he's as quick as we think he is. Because he lacks that intelligence that's the difference between a good footballer and a great footballer. He has the pace and power, but he'll never know how to really use it.
