He's a nutter and crocked. Brilliant striker but he's too much fuss. I'd have preferred it if we hadn't have got Barton for the same reasons. People like that don't change. Saying that though, I think we'd all be tempted to go at Riise with a golfclub.

I've read on a few French forums that we've actually put a bid in. Whether we have or not, we'll soon see. -
Aye, I remember that. Said he'd carry him back
-
That's wrong, surely? We're in the 2008/09 season..
-
We looked great against Stoke in the first half until 3 players were shunted out of position and by the end of the game we had 6 defenders playing. He also played in the middle against Coventry and wasn't as effective.

According to my uncle a paper in Moscow is running the story that we're interested in Vagner Love.. there was a similar story to this in June. He lives there by the way. -
I don't reckon that Viduka will start.. I don't think he's capable of starting. If Duke does start I wonder if we'll see Xisco magically appear on the bench.. Kinnear seems to like 2 strikers on the bench.
-
Probably playing just behind Owen, so a 5 man midfield.
-
Not that they'd ever want to go there but there is no way Cisse would be able to take his friends Beye, Martins, Zoggy, Jonas and Taylor out in Sunderland without there being trouble from the locals. So that makes us the bigger people. Moral victory.

¿Qué? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Damien_Duff Ok I'll re-phrase. ¿Por qué?

So do I but we just have to keep building and moving forward. Owen has to look after Owen and we have to look after Newcastle. About time some fucker did

Contract talks have broken down between him and Betis and this has alerted Kinnear to pick his interest up in him again. The defeners contract expires in June 2009 and he wants the next one to be 'the one of his life'. He says that his first choice would be Betis and that he'd like to stay there for another 3 or 4 seasons but 'it cannot be'. The fact that we have Xisco and Jose Enrique will be a plus for him but we'll face competition from Atletico Madrid and Villareal. -
He's hardly a coward for not wanting to decide on a very important decision that'll affect potentially the rest of his playing career.
-
Good job you don't run the clubor we'd be more f***ed than we are now

Cisse & Martins could destroy defences. Did Sunderland have an option to buy? -

Good player, not a priority for us at the moment. We'll see what strikers we're left with come June -

Yeah but on the other side of the coin Sven is an excellent club manager with loads of contacts throughout the footballing world. Can you remember just how knackered City looked before Sven came in and got them into europe in his first season? There's also the doing the double of Man Utd there. He played nice football as well. They also got humped 8-1 off Boro. How are things going for Sveny in Mexico? In the last game of the season.. we also got beat 5-1 by Man Utd when Keegan was in charge. We also beat Spurs 4-1, who went on to finish above us and had won the Carling Cup that year. One bad result doesn't define a season and if you look at Sven's managerial achievements then surely you'd see how good a manager he is. Is your argument for not liking him the fact that he's controversial or because you don't rate him as a manager?
-
Try doing the points to the relevant teams played rather than at a point in the season, it's a more realistic way of looking at the progress we may or may not have made. Infact I'll probably do it now. I'm that bored

Besides, I quite like reading ridiculous tabloid stories. It reminds me that I'm a better person than the idiots that believe them.

better than that... i think we could get schuster.... I'd love Sven, I wanted him when he said he'd be interested in the job before we gave it to FSA.
