Difficult to call him on the Luton job as it's his only top gig and I know nothing of the players or the club, it's not like he's managed 500 games in the PL with a long history of failure. We have a decent set of players here, if he can just get an identity in place, a set team and formation that suits those players then they will do the rest, we're not going to get a manager that will squeeze every last drop of ability out of this team with Ashley in charge so I'll settle for a manager that can at least implement a system for now.

Hopefully a large array of rotting cabbages holding up picket signs
-
I've heard we'll be fielding a false team and a false manager
-
At this point we should just call it what it is, fearball, scared of the ball, scared of the opposition, scared of conceding, scared of going forward, you get the image.

Ashley doesn't want to pay money to get rid of him and he doesn't want to bring someone in while the transfer window is open. It'll be at least 2 games until he is gone, we could be in freefall in the bottom 3 at that point and the uninspiring replacement won't have the cojones to inject any fight into an already defeated forlorn squad.

The only thing that's disappointing is his refusal to walk, he knows he's taking us down and doesn't give a shit so long as he gets his kebab money every week, fucking charlatan.

I wouldn’t bank on it yet, we’ll probably offer him a pittance in wages 0 hours contract, minimum wage, no paid leave, deal?

I want to believe you, and I want you to be right, god knows I do, but it's very much like the boy that cried wolf. Because of the inane 3PM stuff etc, I don't give credence to anything you say. Sorry. That’s fine mate, I’d be the same but again, the s**** patter aside, I would never, ever, wind people up on here just for kicks intentionally. Not on matters like this. WE all want this, we all need this, as fans, as a region/city/forum etc. Even the most sceptical, the real wind up merchants, because at the end of the day this is our only club and we want the same thing, our club back, a club to be proud of we can enjoy and support win lose or draw with some fu king pride and love thrown in. I desperately want my boys to be part of what we have all been part of before Ashley, especially my youngest who i may lose to f***ing Arsenal and who has been scouted by our club 3 times in a year and truthfully right now, it’s the last place I’d want him to be at. Fingers crossed this happens soon and I think it will, and it genuinely appears those really involved are fighting for this to paraphrase KK and I’d love it, love it, we all would. Could this legal breakthrough be anything to do with a letter that Ashley’s legal team have got hold of that states by Dominic Rabb that the British Government see PIF and the Saudi state as separate entities and that in the meeting with the Premier League the Government said they were in favour of the Saudi takeover and investment in the North East and that they were concerned about outside intervention in the ODT process from other competitors i.e teams and broadcasters. And that Qatar actually contacted Dominic Rabb and were told politely to stay out of the process. Don’t know if it’s true but that is something I have heard. I like the way its gone from 'there's no outside influence on the O&D test, Qatar is not influencing the process' to 'Well, Qatar are getting what they want so this might go through now'. Devils advocate, because I firmly believe that there was outside pressure from the "big 6" and Qatar, however this could be seen as if the case is dropped and piracy is no longer an issue then there's no reason to want to know if PIF and the state are separate entities.

They're positively morbid, if that counts?

If he throws him in and he really has been put on his arse by covid then he'll be blowing out his arse by half time, shit or bust.

Trying to equate Liverpool's inability to score to our inability to football  how does no one push him on his BS?
-
Isn't he working for Dortmund? Part time advisor, so not beyond the realms, however he suffered a brain circulatory disorder in 2016 and semi-retired, not sure he's got the health to be working with Bruce, that fake accent would give me an aneurysm if I had to listen to it every day.
-
Twitter rumours that the guy being brought in to babysit Bruce is Mattheus Sammer, ex-Bayern Sporting Director, that can't be an Ashley hire if true??
-
I think it's pretty obvious the takeover is not dead in the water, even the journos that are desperate for it to fail admit that it's still swimming around in the background. That is also not to suggest that it's definitely going to go through either. It's frustrating, but stamping your feet and saying it's definitely over or definitely going to go through under the current evidence is baseless. All we can do is #Wait
-
"Be brave" is Bruce's version of Pardews "Let our hair down" isn't it? 5-0 defeat on it's way lads!
-
He's definitely given up, he's just waiting for his payday now.
-
I'm going for a 3-0 beating, dust ourselves down and go again.
-
Yeh that ought to do it,im in
-
I heard "Newcastle will have to get players behind the ball now" now, NOW? Like it's not how we play every minute of every fucking game! Making bottom of the league Sheffield UTD on 2 points look like peak Barcelona
-
Damage limitation against a team with 2 points in 17 games ffs. Looks like a resignation letter to me.

Honestly, it could be anything, the only thing I know for sure is that it'll be an insult to the game of football, two horrific sides too scared to do anything, letting their keepers do all the forward passing and a pair of midfields playing grenade football Most deserving match of a no score draw, both sides deserving to lose but one side could nick it with a moment of "magic".
