Undoubtedly a red, clear rugby tackle to stop a goal scoring opportunity, you can't argue double jeopardy against that. This game is stacked against us. Saying that, after a strong opening 5-10 minutes we've been mostly shite. -

Fucking hate these scouse mackems -
In all those clips Ben Arfa has the ball, if you know much about football then you'll know that you're most likely to concede if you have the ball, selfish waster.

I remember when my daughter was born, no health issues thankfully, but I was on shift work and barely got to see her, I gave that up quick smart so I cannot imagine where his head has been at with all the health issues and being so far away from them both. Don't blame the lad and he's been a model professional in how he's handled it, that alone should give him the move he wants. Plenty of others would have gone on strike, done a runner or feigned an injury but he's kept his head high a got stuck in. In current form I hope he's attracted a bit of attention to himself and gets the move that he deserves and that benefits us too.

We lost 4 (in a row) out of the last 5 last season, job was done by then mind. Give the Rafa at least £50m and see what happens, give him enough money to have a proper squad to cover an injuries or tiredness, i bet we finish in the top ten. Tbf we were safe at that point, second half of the season we were really strong, I can see it happening again.

http://www.nufcblog.co.uk/2019/02/17/club-reporter-launches-embarrassing-attack-on-miguel-almiron-absolutely-pathetic/ These did an article on what was written, I haven't read the s*n piece because I refuse to give that rag any clicks but you get the gist from this.

I watched half the game last night, first time I've watched them since we played them, fuck me that was some kind of eye aids! They are definitely at their level, they didn't deserve to win that and over a course of a season you are where you deserve to be, they'll be lucky to go up.

Will that be a 50/50 split between people who think the new manager is "Shite" or "Fucking Shite"? Unfortunately you know as well as I do that even if it's someone like Moyes we'll no doubt have the "give the new man a chance" brigade back on board and not dissenting. He's the last manager to win a Champions League knock out match for Manyoo ya kna

Still pissed these no marks got a result they didn't deserve. How these are 7th I have no idea! Actually hate these cunts, bunch of robbing bastards

A few decent performances and results and a new club record signing has quietened the masses for now, inevitable.

Essentially the club has been repossessed, Oysten is out with immediate effect while looking for a new buyer. Emergency meeting of the FA tomorrow to decide on whether to deduct any points. Short term pain for long term gain as a deduction would take them to 3 points from safety but with the good run of form they're on, they'll probably be safe. Happy for them but jealous at the same time!

I don't buy there being some big conspiracy against us at all. We don't get pens because we don't spend much time in our opponent's box. Hopefully this changes now Almiron's here. What about the all the red card decisions, what's the reason we don't get them then? Which ones? We get just as many the other way. Lascelles should've been sent off at least twice this season, especially for that two-footer 155 games in the PL since an opponent was sent off, 18 Newcastle players dismissed in that period. Complete and utter pisstake. You have to go back even further since that gave us a man advantage too

He had his eye on the ball and had made a decision to catch it, he was in place to catch. If it wasn't for Baly wrapping his arms around Dubravkas neck that's saved. The only clanger was the refs decision.

12 was my first one, I still have it too, 24 is the last one I bought and it's in worse condition than 12

We deserved a point because it took them so long to score. That's kinda what people mean. At 0-0, take away the keeper error, it stays 0-0, ergo we get a point. It's hardly an issue that the 3rd best team in the league was better than us. We kinda already know they are? Its amazing how the best teams just play crap against us and we're shit and lucky not to concede, you wouldn't guess that's there's 2 teams in the game and they both have an effect on how the game progresses. Now I'm not saying we're any great shakes but we know how to limit good teams, we make them look bad and limit them to half chances, then we try and score with the 1 or 2 that we get, it worked against City, not against Spurs. There is a gulf in class and respectively we didn't play well but relatively we did, as everyone has said, the score was probably right but it's still a gut punch that we didn't get the draw after all that hard work they put in.
-
Every game is winnable but will require us to be at our best and them at their worst so not exactly an expectation to be able to win, more a faint hope we might.
-
This formation really brings the best out in Perez and he's taken his opportunity well. With Almiron next to him we've hopefully got that attacking intent we've needed for so long to take those opportunities that the solid organisation at the back will present, could have done with a bit of creativity in midfield to link the two up but with those sublime passes from Schar we'll be ok and when Ki comes back into the team then we've got a functioning first 11. If all can stay fit to the end of the season we'll be looking up rather than down. Still way short of the squad depth we need though.

Not convinced Almiron will play, Rafa likes to have his players well drilled before they set foot on the pitch. Expect Atsu to start and he might get a late cameo. Would take a draw if offered right now.
