KaKa[/member] come on man, if you can't see the difference between the beginning of last season where we were solid and well drilled and had a game plan that we stuck to until it became second nature and the results inevitably came in and today's absolute amateur hour then there's no hope for you. I know you like to look for the positives mate but that's really clutching at straws, it's only going to get worse from here don't do it to yourself man

It's such forced cheese is beyond cringeworthy now, he couldn't lay it on any thicker at this point, I can't wait for it to all blow up in his face and the mask to drop when it turns against him, sickening!

HTT is a forum legend not a wum some people need to wind their necks in. Fwiw I'm kind of torn myself, can't fathom backing Brewcie but I'm still interested in how the game pans out. I'm sure I'll regret it if I end up watching it.

Has to be, how can you compare premier league seasons over a decade apart? Agenda driven, absolutely. Rather than try and defend his stance he just keeps saying it's "imterestimg" to him.

That's the mentality you're dealing with. I'll see your ridiculous quote and raise you this one:

Wow, just wow, the level of idiocy on the comment thread is off the chart, it's like the last 12 year's didn't happen. That's just brought my blood pressure right up! I was going to start commenting back but I just closed the page down before I had a coronary. I blame the chronicle in part for what I've just read, most of their arguments are factually incorrect and a few simple articles over the last few years could have educated the masses on what's actually happened and why.

He's made some very insular comments but from his perspective and taken this season in isolation then I can't blame him. He's not a fan so he hasn't been through 12 years of this hell. Proof in point that players should stick to the football and steer clear of the politics.

Its hard to gauge the outside world when social media flips and flops as much as it does! From the initial anger of Rafa leaving it seemed like everyone had enough, then recently after a few buys and wor Brewcie in charge it's felt like the tide has turned and we're in the minority. If those ticket counts are accurate, plus those that have season tickets but won't be attending then it's looking much better than feared.

Seems like more than historically seen Yorkie[/member]

I was just reading excerpts of that on twitter, interesting notes on Barnes. Sounds like a matter of when, not if his empire implodes at this rate.

Kind of a deal breaker really

It's disheartening because if we made this level of transfer under Rafa I would be genuinely excited for the new season, right now I'm couldn't be more disinterested, everything about Ashley FC is very partridgeshrug.gif I thought about watching my hometown Fleetwood this season but if it's not NUFC I don't feel like I can commit. I'm probably going to go back to watching NFL when that gets underway and keep in touch on here but not really follow the PL this season.

Fwiw I've always liked Ayoze, he's always had to do too much on his own though and only truly flourished with the right players around him, it was something that could have been built on and he would have continued a good run of form imo. ASM looks like he could be a great player but he's extremely raw, no one is knocking him, it's more to do with the fact he needs a decent coaching set up to get the best out of him as he matures, that's not likely to happen with Brewcie is it? Lastly, yes, yes I was pretty negative when we got Sourness after Bobby, he was a dinosaur even then and we paid for him days before he was about to get sacked from a poor Blackburn side. All of the above is irrelevant though because Ashley

Totally unfair. Modern day football has seen a move to the all action pressing style exemplified by Klopp and Poch. Wor Steve is way ahead of the game and is preparing his lads to run the other teams down like hunting dogs. Just wait til the opposition see ginger Jack sliding at them at 11mph.

At face value he's probably right, with him as manager, losing some of our best players with more probably set to leave and a complete lack of investment we'll be lucky to stay up. However he's toeing the Ashley line, resetting expectations and belittling the club. If you shoot for the stars and land on the moon that's great but if you aim for next doors garden and hit the fence then you're in trouble. The trouble is we're in this predicament because he's just another lacky who does as he's told, he's sat back and watched our best players sold and no investment and instead of saying it's not good enough, he's accepted it and lowered expectations. He's doing exactly what Ashley brought him in for, take training, put some bibs out and tell the players to run faster and deal with what he's shat on with. It's just another sucker punch from demanding more, challenging for more and then all of a sudden expecting the minimum again. Crack on, vilify him for the lot, he deserves it all, but let's not forget the real issue in it all.

Got a wonderful crop of players - only needs maybe one or two more - have the likes of Colback, Lazaar, Aarons and Gayle back so squad is very deep - Colback to be vice captain What's really bad is how horrific this club is means that's more than believable.
-
Once the season starts and we've still only made one senior squad addition there's no way we'll be able to hold off most teams with a squad of Colback at all "like new signings". The leatherings won't be long in waiting.

This arsehole bought Blockbuster yet to turn it into the Netflix of the high street?

Unfortunately I think mike is right on this one. f*** off Rafa plays politics, always pushing for more. Fucking bullshit No, he's right, Rafa does play politics and he is always pushing for more, more of what's good for the club, more ambition, more dialogue, more up to date training facilities, more up to date academy, you get the drift... Rafa only wanted what was best for the club.
-
I think he's too dignified to get in a slanging match, he'll just say something cryptic about the fans knowing the truth and leave it at that.
