Can't wait to see what the degenerates on ready to groom think of that one

Weird game that, for all but about 15-20 minutes Liverpool were the better side, but Messi
-
So massive and such great fans they have 15,000-20,000 empty seats each game way more than anyone else in Britain And they call us deluded Actually they call us "Delewded" but the point stands

Fleetwood is my home town, so this is a double whammy for me

I tried to go on it on the computers at work, it basically killed my PC for about 10 minutes before it restored and I closed the page so I didn't even get chance to read it! It's fine if I go on my phone, a few pop ups but nothing too overbearing. Fuck going back on it through a PC browser though.

I hope Rio is asked to buy the players himself out of his own pocket

This. Although I’m also aware that an incoming manager can hugely benefit from the best practice of a predecessor, would generally last a season or so. Think George Graham to David O’Leary as a prime example. There’s probably a few others which I can’t think off the top of my head right now. My worry would be that public opinion would be “oh this guy isn’t bad at all” until he coaches all of Benitez’ ideas out. Then we’d be in for a decade of cluelessness like we had before. Although I agree with you to a point, this squad is very well drilled I also agree with others that losing Rafa will destroy moral and we'll lose a lot of the better players we have. I have no doubt for example that Ayoze will be straight out the door with Rafa for a start. Couple that with the fact the club will sit on their arses and drag it out until August before hiring his replacement giving him no time to buy any players or get the team playing his way. The whole situation is a recipe for disaster!

Ashley clearly playing the waiting game to either bin Rafa off or just stay silent until he's gone. There will be no backlash because there will be no games left and 30k will sign up for whatever deadbeat is in the managers chair next season. I'll be out once Rafa leaves, can't put myself through another Pardew situation, life's too short ffs.

You'd have had to be completely off your tits to enjoy anything about that second half

Hahaha fuck PSG!

Difference was Brighton had some decent subs to call on, most notably that of Knockeart, whereas like I said, outside our first 11 we're mostly trash. People forgetting how bad we were before Almiron came in and Perez found form, this is just a reminder of why we need to build a squad still. Can hardly blame Rafa when his choices for replacing an injured Ayoze are dumb or dumber! A bit of a meh meaningless game, we all want to finish as high as we can, but we're safe, Brighton needed the points more and it showed. A point away from home against a team fighting for survival is nothing to be ashamed of, just frustrating after that first half.
-
Just proving a point that beyond a first 11 we're trash, our first 11 is just about good enough as it is.

He broke so many "records" for us in his time here, every week we'd get absolutely battered by 3 or 4 goals but then he always tipped the balance with a raggy 1-0 to keep our heads above water. A Mike Ashley wet dream.

The history rewriting and back patting is mighty mackemesque!

This summer is the real test iyam
-
Yup - he was utter toilet. Wasn't at all interested. For not being interested see Michael Owen, utter thundercunt of a player, he scored a few goals for us so not technically the worst player but one of the worst pieces of businesses we've done on a striker. Contribution as a ratio to expectation he stands head and shoulders above all else.

If Kenedy is worth £30m then Ayoze is worth £200m ffs
-
Xisco was probably one of the worst buys but he didn't get enough playing time to deem him the worst. We've had some stinkers over the years, Paul Robsinson, Paul Dalglish, Stephan Guivarc'h, Andreas Andersson, Shefki Kuqi, Albert Luque, there's no shortage of utter shite there!
-
I won't be watching any lickspittle in charge once Rafa leaves so imagination is all I'll have. The last bastion of hope for me.

They don't need reimbursing and no cash payments were made to the players, just accounting adjustments. Replace reimbursed with readjust then still stands
-
Weren't wages paid up for players deemed surplus to requirements? So the likes of Colback had the remaining time on their contract paid up from that seasons P&L. This of course won't be reimbursed if said players are sold before their contract is complete or discounted if loaned out with partial wage cover by the loaning team. These are the figures that need investigating, the staged payments for players past the initial payments that are never mentioned, the wages already factored into transfer fees that are no longer relevant, we always here about the expenditure but never about the recuperation, it's a black hole of finance.

Irrelevant conversation, no Rafa = no Toon SD United can go fuck itself with 30k plastic fans happy clapping Alex McLeish for all I care
