I put it on with the background but it got that dull I just stopped watching. Becoming a bit of a joke these days.

I couldn't handle losing to them lot over the border, I'll never hear the end of it but on current form I think they'll win or at least get a draw out of us.

I reckon it's his to lose, as uninspiring as it is, I think they'll see him as the safe option. Another 4 years of not giving a shit about England on the cards here.

I used to love being English and supporting England, Euro '96 was awesome, but now, this is nothing to be proud of. England need a Rafa, someone to rebuild the national side, to make the difficult decisions and play to our form players strengths, not shoehorn 10 "names" into a dysfunctional team. That was awful to watch, but I can't remember an England game I actually enjoyed. I'm so disillusioned by the national team, I'm just eager to watch NUFC play again.

One for Yorkie, I see McNamara has agreed to tender his resignation if York don't get a "positive result" in their game today, interesting to see how that pans out.

Had to do a double take on reading this, not sure what angle it was coming from:

The bitterness! fucking hell man, painful that they would think this stuff- but put it in print, hahahahaha That site regularly peddles such ridiculous nonsense and sadly quite a few seem to be taken in by it. No wonder they collectively have the biggest chip on shoulder in football. They seem to be even more bitter since we were relegated. Strange people. it has destroyed them that we have responded positively to relegation, and still pull in 50k, while they appear to be imploding as a club. I know, it's quite amusing isn't it watching them get really angry about us not being angry I'm "seething" mate, I'd much rather lose all our games in the premiership any day of the week.

Massively small time, clutching at straws in a time of desperation.

It doesn't seem that long ago you and I were talking about the 2nd division play offs that Fleetwood won at Yorks expense, not trying to rub it in btw. Pretty sad it's come to this so quick. Aye it's a real shame. York were really decent that year; saw em a couple of times on their way to the play-offs and they were well above the opposition on both occasions. Like I say, don't really pay enough attention to know where it's all gone wrong since then, but it's a shame. A bigger shame is the prices. £19 to watch one of the worst teams in the Conference? Get away. Dropping like a stone and trying to buy players to get out of the league with no TV money, it's got to come from somewhere I guess, just hope the coffers aren't dry and they find some form soon. They shouldn't be down there.

I get that they probably reneged on their bid for a failed player on a technicality and I'm not one for defending the mackems but why should they be forced to pay £10m for a player that they're now not going to get? They should be fined for breach of contract and have to pay damages, sure, but the whole fee for a player that now plays for someone else seems a bit daft.

Reading the PFM Football365 piece about Giggs and this is one of their responses: Tbf he doesn't have many supporters in his rant but still...

I was just coming in to say this, I'd go as far as to say he's a good championship manager, he just can't cut it stepping up.

I guess they get used to a certain way of life but when that wage stops coming in they can't curb the spending and it spirals from there.

It's a great piece, I've shared it round a few friends to enlighten them. The sofa supporters that get all their knowledge from pundits and don't understand my hatred for managers like Allardyce because he's a "character". They gon learn today.

Hopefully Dr Tony Xia will announce Dr Tony Xia as the new AVFC manager before the end of the day.
