Think you're forgetting how close Pegswood is to Morpeth and the rowing boats and chinese van.
-
There is a quite overwhelming correlation in Pardew's case though. Yeah I realise he's the deciding factor in the horrible football argument.
-
Playing with a front two doesn't automatically equal horrible football.
-
City are starting Milner & Barry, I think the ref was just wanting to even it up.
-
4 of France's starting 11 could be playing for us & apart from Taylor a team full of internationals.
-
They are set to sign Sissoko from Toulouse so I guess they need the money from this transfer to complete that one.
-
I'm yet to work out what Sterling offers to Liverpool.
-
Get it done quickly and it gives us a massive boost for the Reading game.
-
Offers nothing as an attacking source except for the odd free kick he gets.

Stronger? We're 3 strikers light than what we had 12 months ago. Like I said I'm including Ba in this mess. From the start of the season until 2 league games ago we had - Ba, Cisse & Ameobi. We were only playing with 1 out and out forward so 3 strikers should have been enough. If we had of persisted with Ba on the left of a 3 with Marv/Obertan as a replacement for him in that position should he get injured or need to cover for Cisse then I think those 3 should have been sufficient for us to be in a higher league position.
-
I'd go along with shit manager and injuries.
-
I'd say out squad is stronger (obviously minus Ba but he's only been gone 2 league games) now than it was from January onwards last season, our results from August to January with Ba included in the squad have been down to a different reason than our transfer policy.

I dont think he meant grant holt was a luxury player, more it was a luxury over us as they had another striker on the bench. Woooah those type of comments aren't allowed.
-
That transfer policy has got us to 16th to which you'll reply but we have players like ben arfa etc. We are 16th mainly because of a flawed transfer policy. What got us to 5th that we aren't doing now as we had the same transfer policy then.

Seemed to be giving other players grief when he was losing the ball, his passing/crossing is still diabolical.
-
He looks better when he's running at players in the final 1/3, I'd be encouraging him to do this more, sometimes he seems to take the option to pass instead of using a change of pace.
-
Why does it have to be a plan though? Surely they should be good enough to use their initiative in our attacking play.
-
Don't think it's as easy as setting the response time for 'today'.
-
In the first half we invited pressure by over committing when attacking.
-
I'd say it was a better performance than our game last season and we were actually a pretty decent team then.
-
Did we have any right to assume we could take the lead at Old Trafford?

Going by some of the reactions on here I wouldn't be surprised. Oh I forgot, were we playing a top 4 no. We were playing a team that had lost their last 4 league games. Pathetic as usual. They've beat Arsenal and Man Utd at home this season, we had chances in the first half which if better final balls had of been played were scoring opportunities. For me it was a 'meh' performance, we didn't play well but we also weren't as awful as some seem to think.
