I can sort of see Neil's frustrations with the recruitment process. Having had a good start to the season, he can probably see that with a few more established Championship quality players they could make a decent run at it & then he's told they're signing 2 kids from France & someone who struggled on loan at Rangers last season.

Dreyfus clearly isn't that arsed about them or he would've bought out the remaining shareholders either that or he doesn't have the money available to do so. I can't see what benefit Donald/Sartori still being around has.

Desperately needs a permanent move that lad & absolutely no idea how he's managed 5 England caps.

Howe to the rescue
-
If he’s said he wants to go there’s not much more the club can do, anytime a player really wants away they get their wish.

With a bit of luck the other lads have said let’s not bother and discussing the 3-0 forfeit.

Rangers with their Champions League money.

Aye when he took one in the nuts.

The league can be notified of a new player registration before we do our big show on twitter.

Business does seem to pick up after Yasir makes a visit.

Forward is arguably the easiest position to be thrown in to start with little preparation, I can see why Howe has been cautious with defenders and midfielders but hopefully Isak can get a bit of training in on Friday & Saturday & then be thrown in.

I would imagine with players that we've previously had interested in (Paqueta etc) the club has probably asked the sellers to keep them informed of offers that are going in, on the off chance that we would be willing to match it/improve on it.

Marca reporting it as well for what it's worth.

Scandinavian for value.

Warnock was great, he basically just told stories about how he had tried to sign every player on the pitch.
-
I would love to see how planned this Forest signing spree is in terms of how their recruitment works. I can see it being very agent driven and less so scouting.
-
When do they normally announce the All or Nothing for the next season, surely that team is already being filmed for it now so thought it would be out in the press.
-
Willock would be able to do a job on the right of a front 3 (as in the later part of last season) if we had another CM/Shelvey was fit.
-
Ekitike has had 13 minutes over 2 games that they've won 10-2, I wouldn't call that great.
-
West Ham had the chances to win pretty comfortably on Sunday. I didn't think the loss was due to them playing badly more down to bad luck than a poor performance or Forest actually playing that well.

I think Fabio Silva is one that possibly had hopes of getting a move, he still might given how young he is if he does well at Anderlecht and then performs over here. Neto would've been another I think and again he still could be if he stays injury free. Some of the other Portuguese players they've signed have been reclamation projects like Semedo.

Wolves are basically used as a showcase for Portuguese talent to have exposure in the Premier League and then be sold on. There's agreements in place that they won't stand in the players way if they want to leave after impressing for a season or two and a fair offer is received. It currently seems to be good way of guaranteeing league survival without ever quite being able to get real success.
