  1. I don't think he is overpricing the club. Think it's worth what he asks for. With the TV-deals the Premier League has theese days she will get her money back after a season or two. I don't mind if she takes a one off payment from the club to get back the "overpriced" money as long as she is open about it and we get rid of Ashley once and for all.
  2. It's pretty simple. If Ashley don't get the price he wants, he's not gonna sell. He owns the club and does what he wants. If Amanda wants to buy, she must pay what Ashley is asking for. I think Amanda has played her cards and Ashley has responded that it's not enough. Now it's up to Amanda to raise her bid to what Ashley wants if she is gonna get the deal done. She must know by now exactly what it takes for Ashley to sell. So either she makes the bid or walk away. The only other option is to wait untill we are safe from relegation (I hope we will be) and start all over again because then the price will have gone up. I dont think she will get a lower price even if we get relegated. What happens then is he will take the club off the market, wheel and deal on the transfermarket, get us promoted and put the club up for sale for a higher price than he asks for now. So please, Amanda, offer what he wants and get the fat b*****d out once and for all. This is the best chance to get it done.
  3. Read somewhere a swap deal could be likely involving Dwight Gayle and Tom Cairney. Then selling Jonjo Shelvey to West Ham for £15M. That would give us £15M or even more if we sell Mitro(for say £10M) to spend on a new striker. I'd do thoose deals if possible.
  4. Let's just list everyones diseases and illnesses and whoever has the worst does it. If it ends up being someone with herpes then so be it. I've got a cold, so I guess it's me at the moment.? Next...
  5. Of course he never wanted to sell if he didn't make a big profit. Has been doing this too many times now and always blames someone else. He's a real cancer to this club and now is the time to haunt him out once and for all. We all have to make heavely protests outside St James Park and sing "Ashley out!"-songs from the stands all through the matches untill he's gone. NOTHING'S GONNA CHANGE UNTILL HE'S GONE!!! HAUNT HIM OUT!!! NOW!!! AT ALL COSTS!!!
  6. Best way to learn is by doing mistakes. Better doing it when we are 3-0 up in the cup against a League 2 team. It's a learningcurve that starts now. Will do him lots of good in the end.
  7. Lascelles limped before the first goal. Was asked if he could play on. Than subbed when the first goal went in. www.shieldsgazette.com/sport/football/newcastle-united/jamaal-lascelles-suffers-worrying-injury-in-newcastle-s-fa-cup-tie-against-lutom-1-8943654
  8. Yeah, no pressure on him. But he hasn't made 10 matchwinning saves and scored the winner yet and we have played 20 mins.
  9. Hard to see it will be announced on a saturday. Stuff like this never happens at weekends. Monday at the earliest, if anything's happening at all.
  10. Imagine we lose 1-2 and it becomes official that she walks away from the deal.???
  11. Has the interview with Staveley been yet? Wasn't it supposed to be at 15.00?
  12. Beardsley has had the job for too long without any improvement. Time for a change. I think someone like Steve Watson could do a good job.
  13. So is the kick off of both the interview and the game at the same time? Must get some good sleep tonight so I could do two things at the same time tomorrow. Imagine Amanda to announce she's the new owner the same second as we score the first goal! Eufori!!!!???.....................hart attack!!!???
  14. Cantervale is a music and food festival in Canterbury arranged by Canterbury boys highschool or something like that. Can't see any relevance in that though.
  15. Ed at nufcblog is picking up on this now. Nothing new but anyway. www.nufcblog.com/2018/01/03/takeover-update-amanda-staveley-registers-new-company-holding-company-to-acquire-newcastle/
  16. Only from what I've seen. Aarrons had really good games against Spurs and Man City a couple of years ago. Of course he has been injured a lot after that and not played much. Question for Aarrons is if he will find that form again or if the injuries has destroyd him. Only way to know is to play him or loan him to a club where he will get games. But in my opinion he has showed more in the past than Murphy has ever done.
  17. Perez is so much better when he plays as a striker. Think he's our best finisher inside the box.
