Kinda hoped for Steve Watson to take Beardsleys job at the U23s.

He's had his time. Hasn't really produced any player for the first team, bar Dummett. Time for a change! I'm sure Rafa have someone lined up already with the contacts he has. If only Ashley could let Rafa take care of everything (transfers, academy and training facillity).

New keeper kits are ok. Not great but we've had a lot worse. Hope Dubravka has no.1 on the back. He has earned it!

What's the situation with Beardsley? Is he still put on leave? I think that if Rafa stays he will get a new man in charge for the reserves and a few good new players too.

That Icland top is ok. Errea always do nice kits. Would love to see them do a Newcastle one.

Jackson Martinez has been released from his chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande and is now on a free transfer. They bought him for £37,5M and is now released! He's now 31 but must be better than what we have at the moment. Was very prolific at Porto a couple of seasons ago and we've been linked with him many times before. Someone to consider as an early transfer in the summer?

I also wonder if he is thinking about a 3 at the back / 5 at the back system, utilising Kenedy and Yedlin as wing backs. Again it's an extra formational option that isn't really a possibility with Dummett or Manquillo. That's what I would like to see. Mbemba, Lascelles, Dummett as centerbacks and Yedlin and Kenedy as wingbacks.

I don't think he is overpricing the club. Think it's worth what he asks for. With the TV-deals the Premier League has theese days she will get her money back after a season or two. I don't mind if she takes a one off payment from the club to get back the "overpriced" money as long as she is open about it and we get rid of Ashley once and for all.

It's pretty simple. If Ashley don't get the price he wants, he's not gonna sell. He owns the club and does what he wants. If Amanda wants to buy, she must pay what Ashley is asking for. I think Amanda has played her cards and Ashley has responded that it's not enough. Now it's up to Amanda to raise her bid to what Ashley wants if she is gonna get the deal done. Read somewhere a swap deal could be likely involving Dwight Gayle and Tom Cairney. Then selling Jonjo Shelvey to West Ham for £15M. That would give us £15M or even more if we sell Mitro(for say £10M) to spend on a new striker. I'd do thoose deals if possible.
