As it stands, we wouldn't pay anywhere near what Leicester and Bournemouth would be asking for the three of them.

I'm no Tory but Nissan setting up in Washington was on their watch. They're all about entrepreneurs and private sector investment. They'll do nowt about this because it'll be very public and they know they'll get pelters for it. They've got tighter control over how their political and economical dealings with Saudi are viewed by the public.

My thoughts exactly - this is basically an attempt to get the Government involved. We've got tories in power who are all about big business creating jobs and investing in regions so they don't have to find or provide the money themselves, especially given the country's about to take a running jump off a cliff. Given their refusal to get involved so far, I can't see it changing.

Thank fuck for that.

The Managerial Merry Go Round™ - Frank in at Tottenham

Nailed on he'll be the first name linked to a vacancy at a non-top four/six club either this summer or next season (whatever comes first). Do they offer betting markets on that? -
Didn't have one all game. Been keeping an eye as I had him and Aubameyang to each have over one at 9/2.

Commonly seen on low-budget 90's heavy metal compilations. Looks like the sort of thing a bloke called Dean would have down his inner forearm saying "Donna".

Oh well.

Bold to predict we’ve heard the last of PCP - Staveley will be scrounging for new investors already. PIF are gone and gone, probably from English football for the foreseeable. It’s easy to imagine them buying an Italian or Spanish club, or even Marseille or Lyon to crush the everloving shit out of PSG. That's my feeling as well, although who knows how long it'll be. Wouldn't be surprised if the Reuben brothers are also involved again - it just depends on finding someone prepared to fund the biggest chunk.
