Joe Kinnear - Joking here Probably been said somewhere else but who cares
-
If a new board made him promises that they were able to keep, I'd take him back in an instant.
-
Why? It seems a lot of those against such an idea are looking at it all wrong, getting confused between the idea of owning and running NUFC being the main one. Sorry mate, I just don't feel it would be a step in the right direction. I didn't really post that to discuss it, I just wanted to state my feelings on it.

I usually agree with the things you say HTT, but I'm afraid I couldn't be any more against the fans taking over.
-
Well by all accounts Guthrie was a Keegan signing so turning the fact you don't rate him into more Wise bashing is a bit harsh. FWIW I think he's a decent player, but he's never going to be the sort that will stand out as he's more about stopping the opposition playing than anything else. Get the right players alongside him and he could play a very important role. I'm sorry if I've missed something, but where does it say he was a Keegan signing?

I don't like the guys running the club and I won't show them any support at all. I don't like this "support Newcastle, not them (ashley & co)" stuff because they're the ones in charge, I won't be spending any money on merchandise etc until they're gone or they have made up for the disgrace they have just put us through, and I sincerely hope it's the former.
-
I hope we wait for the next chairman to come in, so he can decide on who he wants.
-
I'd take anyone over Ashley at this moment in time.
-
I agree with the original poster. Kev, if you ever read these forums, I still think you're a legend!
-
I don't believe this to be true.
-
I agree with HTT. This all still seems like a very bad dream.
-
That's rubbish. Don't act as if you're smart please.
-
I really hate people saying he has bottled it. When he joined the club they made him promises to sign and come back, obviously those promises haven't been kept otherwise he would still be here. If someone promised me something for a job, then didn't deliver, I'd find a new job too. I honestly feel like saying I'll not watch football ever again, but I don't know what will happen...
-
Really gutted.
-
I'm sorry like but it's way too soon to judge them. I'm not saying I think they're bad or anything, but you're saying you would rather keep those guys because their signings have had some good games, over someone that took us out of old division two to second in the premiership.

For Makes things interesting + I don't know what it used to be like.

I don't like him at all, but I am prepared to give him one more chance.
-
I'm still here. Not going anywhere. Oh thank god!
-
I'm sad to see you leave James, I hope you do well at your new club. I REALLY hope we get more new players!
-
Yeah that's a cracking article.

These might sound daft, but I'm worried because: We needed lots of new players at the end of last season, then we let a lot go. We don't seem to have the pulling power we once had, in fact we don't seem to have any pulling power. People haven't received their season tickets yet, wtf?! A loyal player like James Milner wants to leave the club because he doesn't feel his contract is fair. Now I know Milner isn't the most gifted player in the world, but he works hard, is never any trouble, gives everything for the club and most importantly plays almost every game without complaining about being tired or injured etc. If we can pay Duff 70k per week for doing... well... I don't know, surely we can offer someone like Milner a better contract. The mackems seem to be signing people with ease, maybe they're not the best in the world, but they have definitely improved their squad. I still don't think they're signings are that great, but I know there's a feel good thing going on in Sunderland at the moment and they're feeling pretty confident about beating us, and I don't like that Keegan doesn't even seem to know what's going on. They say Ashley promised Keegan a wow signing and lot's of transfer money, which doesn't seem to have materialized Bullet pointed for your pleasure The only positives I can take out of this transfer window are we actually seem to be signing real improvements on what we already have, we don't appear to be needlessly wasting money and we have Kevin Keegan.

I don't think we will sign anyone.
