  1. what good is a youth policy if Campbell comes here? I would rather have kadar etc as backup than sol. when will these kids ever get a chance if we keep bringing in idiots for cover instead of blooding them in? If the kids arent good enough, then sell them or release them. if they are, then give them a chance.
  2. think its going to be spain. death by a 1000 passes. holland will sit back, admiring the 2 centre backs passing the ball to each other, get bored, and villa will score hope dutch take it though. 2-2, penalties i think.
  3. newcastle/england supporter, talking about high expectations? classic
  4. hehe.... well, if this conversation is degenerating, then... my dick is bigger than yours...
  5. sorry dude, getting hot under the collar. when idiots make idiots comments i need to defend them. if we were talkig football, i would be the first to admit that the group stages were cagey, and that things took after that. I would be happy to have a football converstation. but for some idiot to say the atmosphere etc was shit gets me angry apologies for the tone, i wont bring it up again, you guys can carry on slagging us off
  6. whats wrong with african unity now? its something to be proud of. you guys could learn something from it instead of constantly boo'ing your teams. thats 2 hours before you praised them as being the greatest the world has every seen. Rooney, best player in the world. Going to win the world cup. Bad game. Boo them. And now you want to rip us off for being united? you really live on an island.
  7. We woz robbed man. Gerrard and Lampard are mint, best 2 midfielders in the world, we should have beaten Germany. hehe. there you go....
  8. ok, sky news, bbc news, all uk papers, all are unanimous that this was a great world cup. go watch the news, educate yourself. stop sulking. if england were playing today it would be classed the best world cup since 66. like i said above. you see it as terrible because your team were crap
  9. actually, im south african, so, i know for a fact the atmosphere was amazing. so, i have sky, and loads of real people, you have your couch and your sulking attitude because england were crap as usual
  10. what planet are you on you twat? do you even watch? the atmosphere was always excellent. EVERY SINGLE WORLD CUP REPORT on sky praises the atmosphere/vibe etc the reasons some teams like england, italy and france stuggled was because they are teams of individuals and this has been a world cup where 'teams' have excelled and not individuals
  11. i think its going to be judged with englands performance, and not on its own.... wonder how fans of the semi-finalists think it went? England were terrible, so sentiment here is going to be the same, right?
  12. so much for promoting from withing so much for transfer policy of players who's value will increase

"I find these complaints absolutely baffling. First of all, the drone of the vuvuzelas is a tremendous, otherworldly sound. What is the point of holding a World Cup in South Africa if you are going to prevent South African crowds from expressing themselves in their own way? For me, it adds an unexpected and genuinely different feel to the whole occasion. So you can put me down as a vuvuzela-lover. But secondly, why is it that the incessant chanting or singing of football fans is suddenly so widely cherished by viewers? Personally, I find the sound of a football crowd either dreary, boorish or, if England fans are around, plain offensive, particularly if we happen to be facing Germany or Turkey. A ban on vuvuzelas would be a victory for bland, globalised non-culture over the current cultural expression of South Africans. It doesn’t matter that these horns are relatively new in cultural terms, having been adopted only in the early 1990s; there are plenty of things in every culture that are equally new, and it doesn’t make them any less valid. Finally, a word of advice: if you don’t like them, I suggest you use the mute button. That way you kill two birds with one stone, getting rid not only of the vuvuzelas but the crass partiality and borderline racism of the ITV/BBC commentators."

hay, if you want a reputation as a country full of hooligans with total disrespect for the countries you visit, then by all means....

"We're crazy, outlandish and exciting! That's why we enforce a constant, monotonous drone which essentially censors cheering, singing, the sounds of crowd excitement or any other musical instruments!" They make South Africa's support dull. Deathly dull. Thank to the constant drone you've adopted, your so called "outlandish" support makes the Germans look like Mardi Gras. It seems to me the people inside the grounds haven't had much experience at football matches, not top quality anyway, and do not understand what an atmosphere should be like and how it should effect the game. Its comments like this, and there are many others above that really fuel the total disrepectful fire... Our football isnt as good as yours. Our fans arent as knowledgable as yours. Our support isnt as good as yours. I shouldnt get sucked into "debates" like this because for all i know im probably talking to children. Ill leave it at that for now. On behalf of all of Africa, we apologise that we are different to you.

African games are all about colour, noise, outlandish costumes, etc Thats what we are all about. We Dress in crazy stupid outfits, with big sunglasses and hats etc. We make a noise with our vuvuzela (amongst other instruments). That is what African football is all about. It might not make sense to you. Neither does a man taking 10 wives. Just respect that other countries and their supporters are different than yours.

Oh my, you lot are a bunch of twits. im expecting a backlash, but had to pop on here and let you know what a bunch of muppets you are... this is an african world cup, with african fans and an african atmosphere.... get off your high horse..... want me to start a thread about fat shirtless geordies and how inappropriate that is? there is a lot that can be said good and bad about newcastle supporters. no, im not a WUM, ive been a newcastle supporter for 20 years, and im from South Africa. Proudly South African. show some respect. if you dont understand african culture/heritage, then at least respect it, else shut up. This is not europe. We dont do things your way.
  19. wouldnt Enrique work on left wing? could put Kadar LB and Enrique to protect him. we need width. then Jonas on right, and Guthrie in the middle could work
  20. They have been gash, true story is true.. yep, they arent playing well, but they are all we got
  21. Newcastle start winning ============>>>>>> every player best in history, going to win the league, loads of hero's, happy days Newcastle start losing ============>>>>>> every player is crap, going down, die die die
  22. why not start a nationwide campaid to boycott his brands?
  23. And this signing obviously proves that they're not ready yet. if we were in the prem, these players would probably have gone out on loan to championship clubs.... they are never going to be ready until you throw them in the deep end and test them, some come through, some dont. but if you always stick to experiance twats who dont perform, or bring in players from other clubs, we arent investing in our future, and we are taking steps backwards. I would only ever loan where we dont have good youth coming through, eg wingers....
  24. id rather we brought our youth through, either we have faith in kadar etc, or we dont....
  25. we desperately need more defenders and central midfielders. we have way too many attacking options now, especially on the wing
