what a stupid article. Nolan left because he saw more potential in West Ham? OMG, that is poor poor poor
I guess you could say the same about Ba moving from West Ham to Newcastle?
Or what about Owen leaving Real for Newcastle? Must have been huge potential to be greater than Real.
poor logic
I think the fact that SAM got him says it all. Im sure Pulis was also chomping, but Nolan must be too fat for stoke. Im glad he is gone, we can get a sports psycologist to replace his god like dressing room aura
on a free and on some kind of a pay as you play, with load of insurance, i see this as low risk
the only time its a problem is if he is paid a lot for 2 seasons to sit in treatment room
You should split the rumoured in to strong rumours (with thread) and other (without thread) - link the players to their respective threads.
just a thought
Id personally like to say a big thank you to Nolan for what he has done for this club and his part in the Sunderland masacre. His contribution has been alot greater than I would have expected.
I for one, will NOT miss him. Not in the slightest. Him and Fat same can have a blast turning West Ham into Stoke MK II
his close control and eye for a pass wont be lost.
wow, what a video. kids got talent.
imagine he had a pacey striker or 2 in front of him to look for ?
imagine he had technical players around him he can bounce passes of?
good times ahead
huh? my point is, will our team be stronger or weaker ? would you rather we didnt sell carrol and didnt buy anyone? or sell carrol and replace with Cabaye, Ba, Erdinc, Taylot, and a few others? Most of which could also increase in value
Would you rather have 1 Carrol?
or
0 Carrol and 1 Cabaye, 1 Ba, 1 Erdinc and 1 Taylor ? Im sure the money will go a longer way than just that btw, but you get my point
why doesnt a reporter leak who it is? what benefit do they have in keeping it a secret, unless they dont know a thing either?
paper selling ploy? "big news tomorrow", tomorrow comes "big striker coming this week", this week comes "change of events in striker bid coming tomorrow",
rinse
repeat
1) Nolan is not the type of player we need to build the team around
2) Nolan is important in the short term
3) Nolan has 2 years left on his contract
(what to do, what to do? )
Im really impressed that :
a) we knew of him and his contract situation
b) we sold newcatle above other clubs in CL
c) we closed the deal
for a french international with great quality.
whomever was involved, top to bottom, deserves some credit
