top 10 should be do able. the huge challenge is above that. i mean look at spurs everton aston villa man city blackburn portsmouth west ham all of whom in my opinion have better overall squads than ours at the moment (west ham is arguable). we can get top 10 by bringing in 1 or 2 good players. to get top 6, itll be a lot harder and to be honest, at a game like aston villa vs portsmouth, you could see the result go either way. its highly competetive outisde the top 4.

based on youtube alone, he looks like a player who can take the ball round people very well, with a bit of pace and power as well. looks good for £3 million, looks good in the video but partly because of the dross around him. looks like he sets up a few goals as well, which idiots have just blasted over after his good work. ill be very happy if keegan signs him for £2.75m

While this is true, it completely ignores the fact that we probably offered more money to get them here in the first place, which doesn't seem to be on the agenda anymore. I think, amidst all the unmitigated s**** in here, that's a key issue that people are on about. I think apart from the money, at the time you beat us to Emre & Parker sure we'd finished 4th but it was a real bolt from the blue. Nobody had anticipated it and Newcastle would be seen as a safer bet for a player. It's fair to say that the tables have turned on that score now.
