This may just be the reason the bigger clubs don't seem to be pushing the boat out for him as you'd expect. Aye after all all the premiership players are faithful little choirboys? Man U's Christmas party comes to mind.
-
"It was such an unpleasant scene the journalists decided not to write about it because we had been invited to the training ground to cover a far more important subject.." And then Man U and their arselicking media wonder why everyone else hates them so much, twatface makes a fool of himself at such a solemn occasion and it's buried deep because "we had been invited to the training ground to cover a far more important subject." - yeh right, if it had been any other club it would have been front page headlines the next day. And I still think Messi is a better player.

I likes this bit in the interview "Guillem: The little details were won by Germany. You didn’t seem concentrated enough" In other words if you'd stopped looking at yourself pn the big screen every fucking 20 seconds you might have been able to concentrate more. At one point I expected him to bring out a comb for fuck's sake. I agree about him being overrated, give me Messi and Kaka all day and everyday, proper footballers not mannequin egotastics.

I had a bet on Turkey, but after 90 minutes Turkey v Germany will be mental, is it correct that there are more Turks in Germany than in Istanbul? (or something). It'll be bedlam in Germany the day of the game, Germans for me for the winners, they just know how to win. And I've got a bet on them to win the cup. Haway the Jormans.
-
I'd love it just love it if Turkey beat Croatia and Arda scored the winning goal.
-
Modric. Oh aye of course, haway the Turks!
-
Who are the commentators going to w*** over now that twatface has gone?
-
Haway the Jormans, got a fiver on them.

I wouldn't include Robson in that group though. Sure, his health has declined, but he was willing to go back into management. There was a couple of jobs that came around; Hearts sticks out. He wouldn't go there because the Chairman wanted an influence on the teamsheets and Bobby was having none of it. Aye even Allardyce isn't desperate enough to take that job......so far anyway.

Thought the BBC said new BBurn manager was Ince? They're usually right.
-
Meh, he's over rated man! I bet he's gutted, he'd think a top 4 side would come in for him. We'll still tan their hides next season. Twice.

There's more to it than just finding a good club that will let you start every game. For instance, if the player feels actually wanted, and not just as another good player in a good squad, but as THE player the manager wants. I imagine Kevin Keegan's enthusiasm may well swing a player in our favour. If the player wants European football, I'm sure Keegan will remind him that England technically is a European country and that he'll play in Europe every week. Why not? He got Sylvain Distin to choose a newly promoted Man City when Newcastle were in the Champions League. The bold bit is the most clutching at straws statement ever on this forum! But I admire your optimism.

Aye- a childish thread for a childish twat of a football player.
-
Good - it might drive him out of the country for once and for all. Let's hope they repeat on a daily basis.
-
Ashley is going to be isnt he? But that would mean he had to speak to the press which he refuses to do? I can't see it myself.
-
It depends whether Chelsea have a big screen he can constantly admire himself on as he ponces about the park. The twat.
-
There's more chance of Owen joining him at Man City than him ever coming here, he hardly fits in with the reduced wages policy does he?
-
I was embarassed for them, Portugal have obviously taken over from England in their eyes because Ronaldo's playing for them. Strange how he's changed from the Devil when he got Rooney sent off to this wankathon every time he gets the ball.
-
Deja vu - Wayne Rooney story shows its horrible face again.
-
He was a disaster from the start. I was always sure Given and Carr said come here, they'll pay you a fortune and you don't need to do much. We didn't need him and that's when Zog's problems started. Please let this be true, and if Keane pays money for him as rumoured he is indeed a poor poor judge of a player. He'd even sign Bramble if he was Irish.
-
Aye, even if someone hit him on the head he'd roll around clutching his ankle, did my head in an all. And Religious reasons? Eh? He wasn't by any means the only Muslim in the team, surely Beye and Faye are too?

Lee Ryder's obvioulsy reading this thread:- just appeared. Emre quits Toon May 30 2008 By Lee Ryder NEWCASTLE UNITED have parted company with Turkish ace Emre tonight according to reports in Istanbul. The diminutive star is currently preparing for Euro 2008 with Turkey in Austria and Switzerland but sources at Fenerbahce tonight claim the Turkish Superliga giants have made the midfielder their first major signing of the summer. A statement on Fenerbahce's official wesbite tonight said: "Fenerbahce reached an agreement with Newcastle United in order to sign the Turkish superstar Emre Belozoglu." The player arrived on Tyneside during the Graeme Souness era from Inter Milan for £3.8million and won a place in the hearts of the Toon Army after a stunning free-kick won the derby in 2005 at St James's Park in a 3-2 victory.

What's Kelmsley got to do with it? He left Spurs last year and lives in New York? I thought Dunne is giving evidence against Barton anyway, if that's true he was never going to come here.
-
Aye but Kieran Richardson is English, it's a wonder he didn't go for more than 5.5 mill, after all he is ex man U which usually puts your price up (a la Alan Smith). If N'Zogbia had been born in South Shields he'd be going for 12 million.
