  1. I did used to think that Lawrenson used to revel in pointing out his and Boumsong's mistakes, where they never, ever point out say Spurs defensive errors. Then the papers picked up on it too and of course he made more bloopers with Wigan and been dropped. I wouldn't be surprised if Bruce sold him to a Championship side in the summer. Shame, we could have welcomed him back next season and thanked him for his nice remarks about us.

    Martins

What - like all Geordies are delusional? All Jews are tight arsed? All Muslims are terrorists? Get back to the gist of the thread man..
  3. It's only because he played for Man U (and was their captain) they (media) are half way up his backside. If Keegan had spent 40 million + on those players they would be wanting to put him into an asylum. I just cannot get over the fact he spent 4 million on Andy Reid and 5 million on Michael Chopra! And the rest.

    Aiden McGeady

Wasn't he at Rangers for a couple of years then went back to Spain?
  5. Stephen 'Fat B@stard' Carr? You've got to be kidding. Steven Carr is anorexic compared to Andy Reid. He looks like he's come from the local pub team. FOUR million? How come none of the journalists have picked up on Keane's shite buys like him and Miller, and Chopra?

    Aiden McGeady

He's surely far too lightweight, as is Lennon. And far too expensive.
  7. His corners are woeful, but he still hasn't played in a game which we've lost which must say something. How many assists does he have now in the last 6 games? It must be 4 or 5, no-one else comes near do they?
  8. There was a moment when everyone was chanting "stand up if you hate Sunderland" and I looked up at the Director's Box and Ashley and about 5 others around him were all standing and chanting, and I thought "aye there's the man who wants to sell the club"
  9. Then he says fucking shit three times at the ref and stays on, yet Smith was sent off at their place for swearing at the ref? And they wonder why they're hated?
  10. "Drives you to f****** drugs going to toon matches, counter productive." I would agree, it's a total addiction so why they think it's a good idea to introduce them to going to the match is a good idea I'll never know. I suppose you could say it's less harmful to the body, unless you count the pre match pints. Nah, bad idea all around.
  11. Team player in what sense? On the pitch, or off it? i think it could be coached out of him, like it was for Ronaldo, but alot depends on Keegans choice of formation for next season, to be honest, i get the feeling hat Boussaffa is a direct replacement for him. Off the field. Keegan saying something like he doesn't "involve" himself enough and his team mates are trying to improve that because they all want him to stay. He has talent no doubt but I really think he could disappear if he doesn't wake up and use it. If he can't be motivated by Keegan he can't be motivated very much, certainly not at Spurs, and he won't be going to Arsenal anytime soon based on his present form.
  12. But I get the feeling that he's not a team player, if Keegan has noticed that then he will be out, unless he can be persuaded to change his attitude. It won't matter how good he is, how good a crosser he is, and all that, if it looks like he's not fitting in he will be away. And he'll disappear I fear. Bit like Viana.
  13. Problem is - some of them seem to mean it! And we just think it's funny.
  14. This one's the best. You have to worry don't you? "However to this day the simple sight of a toon top or an nufc badge still has me instantly assuming the wearer is a total wanker who should be shot with a ball of his own shit. I audibly growl when they are mentioned on the tele. I call them wankers as I drive past one, no matter who is in the car. I taught my daughter to throw pretend hand grenades at their shop in the metro when she was three. I plant stripes of red and white flowers in the front garden to piss a fat maggie neighbour off. I call my dog Mackem for much the same reason. I've refused to assist them at work yet bent over backwards to help anyone red and white. And it all drives the wife mental. She says I'm pathetic, and I know she is right.
  15. I really believe if KK can't get the best out of him then no-one can, unless he was at Arsenal, which is very unlikely. If he ends up at Spurs he'll disappear sooner than later.
  16. Who's going to do anyting about favouritism of the big 4? It'll get worse not better and no-one in the FA thinks it's a problem.
  17. Can't see him going to Man City with a stadium 2/3 full most of the time. None of the top 4 seem to want him. I think he'll stay, he's obviously happier since KK arrived and we started playing the three upfront.
  18. I don't get what's wrong about encouraging people who live around the ground to come and try a game that they probably haven't come to before? Or wouldn't think they were welcome to come to before, more like it.
  19. We're worse than the NOTW - Martins says how happy he is here and that's immediately translated as he will be leaving anytime soon. I hope he stays till he's 40 like.
  20. Deco because Bentley would never come here after his remarks about us just this week.

    nufc.com

Didn't Keegan say he was approached on the Thursday and said he wanted to talk personally to Mike Ashley - so he wasn't "interviewed" until the Wednesday after. That would put paid to any talk of Redknapp being offered the job on the Friday. Then Redknapp got the Portsmouth chairman to pay him a "loyalty" bonus of 2 or 3 million to stay (allegedly). Anyway thank feck we never got him.

    Thierry Henry

The Bentley who says this about us? "Anything different and the team stops winning. I've seen it happen. You look at the clubs that are struggling in the Premier League and it's always for those same reasons, players have to be controlled, if they're not it's a disaster, look at Newcastle.'
  23. Lennon's surely too lightweight. At the Spurs game Geremi just put his foot out a couple of times and took the ball off him, like taking sweets off a baby. We can do better than him surely. He's jut been hyped up because he plays for the media darlings.
  24. Aye it's Veloso according to the telly.
