  1. Aye it's Veloso according to the telly.
  2. Or just write it into the rules that we get a place however well we do eh? Aye! Which clubs have entered into the Intertoto cup then? Could we get in that way?
  3. He's a Billy Bigtime with an ego to match, he'll think anything out of the "top 4" is beneath him. He wants dosh and plenty of it. Arsenal is out, Man U won't want him (because of his Bilybigtime ego) so that leaves Liverpool or Chelsea. There is no way he would come here, unless of course we don't lose a game from now till May and we show some ambition for what we're going to be like next season. But I'd bet anything he thinks he's too good for us, or Villa, or Everton. I doubt Spurs would be interested in him because I think they'll get rid of a lot of their English players and buy in cheaper Europeans. If Grant is still in a job in the summer I think he'll go there.
  4. I thought he was someone else but he's new. There's a WUM on one of the other boards called Teebag (can't remember which). If it's him he's definitely not a Newcastle fan. He's an idiot an all. Surely he wouldn't be daft enough to use the same moniker? Would he?
  5. I've got a sneaky feeling that KK is saying to them we could possibly win all our games, it would give them something to aim for and make them (and us) go off happy at the end of the season. He's so optimistic I wouldn't put it past him (to say it - not to do it).
  6. I hope not - Bentley is one of these spoilt England internationals like Ashley Cole and Jenas, we've had enough of those types to last us a lifetime. Anyhow he'll think he's far too good for the likes of us, he's so far up his own backside he'll disappear soon.
  7. We're due somebody a right tonkin.
  8. More positivity from the Independent - crikey mikey. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/tottenham-hotspur-1-newcastle-united-4-newcastle-hint-at-return-of-old-keegan-magic-802798.html
  9. How many of these games has he played in? You sound like that twat with Andy Gray "ooh he's never scored since December though, conveniently forgetting that he was in Africa and then out injured. Could it be that he's made a tad of a difference since he came back?
  10. Why do you have such an intense dislike of Faye? Isn't he quite well known for being an open racist (Northern Monkey)? I thought it was just for generally spouting negative crap and trying to wind people up. Is his name an anagram of Andy Dunn?
  11. Walcott will be at Arsenal his whole career, there's absolutely no chance on earth he would come to us. I like Ashton though, if he could stay fit and lose some weight he could be Viduka's replacement.
  12. Still think he was the mole who said the team talk at Arsenal was sh*t, if so he won't be back.
  13. And would have had about as much impact. Who cares anyway, it's just a friendly with overpaid, overhyped, self obsessed footballers like Ashley Cole, Gerrard, Bentley, Terry and so on. Even writing their names makes me cringe. And another occasion when our top goalscorer might get injured.
  14. I woke up yesterday morning to someone on the radio saying "Well Keegan might get money in the summer to rebuild but let's face it if he isn't doing the business 4 games in Ashley will sack him then, no doubt about that". What? So now he isn't getting the sack this season but they've already started on next season! As for Custis, he is Allardyce's big friend as someone said isn't he?
  15. Assist for the second goal, and a major part in the first. Contributed more yesterday than what Smith has all season. In other words 2 assists? Can't be bad surely. When did Duff ever do that in one game? Or even Milner? And no Duff on the bench? KK has found him out then.
  16. I dislike them because after Man u they are the team that the commentators & journalists wank over the (second) most. According to them at the beginning of every season they are hailed as the ones who are going to crash the top 4, win the UEFA Cup, the FA Cup and the League Cup (oh ok). When they take on a Director of Football they are hailed as forward looking and when we do it we are looked on as fools. When their fans boo them it's totally ignored and when they had a worse defensive record than us it was ignored as well. Having said all that I know a few Spurs fans and they're all pretty sound.
  17. Pilko will you change your avatar, I'm havin me dinner man.
  18. He was really pissing me off. So was the other guy. In the second half the main commentator said "Newcastle have improved greatly over their first half performance haven't they?" Deathly silence follows. Burley has always hated us for whatever reason, oh apart from Viduka because he played for Celtic (he is that pathetic and it shows). But I remember when we played Birmingham at home the guy commentating nearly burst into tears when Beye scored in the 93rd minute (think that was SKY - not sure). Feck em.
  19. I think the fact that the players were supposedly at such a low ebb by the time he left means he would have failed. Thank God he was sacked before he could build Bolton Mark 2 and bored us all to death in the process.

    Butterflies

Yes but we have to get out of the HABIT of losing games. Tonight's the night.
  21. The press are being very very gentle on him for whatever reason. Because at the minute Sunderland dont sell newspapers and they just dont appear on the radar of the commen football football fan Nah I still think it's because most of the journalists wank over Keane.
  22. What absolutely amazes me (but shouldn't- after all he is an ex Man U idol so the media wank over his every word) is that he never ever gets any stick for the abject shite players he has paid over 40 million for. Can you just ever imagine if Keegan had bought players like Chopra or Reid In January? He would be getting slaughtered now even more than he is in the press. As it is they just blithely ignore it, it's staggering really. For this reason alone I hope beyond hope that they go down. I can even remember Richardson (another fantastic buy) saying they would be fighting for a European place by now, but nobody accuses them of being delusional and just forgets about it.

    Alan Smith

Aye Martins is going to score a hat trick which means Keegan can never ever drop him again.
  24. Looking back - was that the beginning of the end (SA)? I remember being madly excited that we'd score a shitload, then after about 10 minutes it was obvious he had told them to defend and not attack. But the journos have forgotten about that game - and all the rest of the dross. Oh how I hope he becomes manager of one of their favourite teams like Spurs, but I realise that would never happen like.
  25. ? Aye but have you ever read it anywhere else in a prominent place? Daily Mail? No, Sun? No Mirror? No. They're not interested, only interested in us and how Wise is based in London and KK is getting sacked at any minute. Who the f*** takes ANYTHING the red tops (and the Daily Mail is basically a front for the rise of the Fourth Reich anyway) say without a bucketload of salt? The Sun also branded Liverpool fans murderers, once upon a time. They publish tits on the third page, you know. Most people don't get further than that anyway. We (on here) don't take it seriously obviously but it's kind of plain that plenty do believe every word (including Newcastle supporters). We're all getting a lesson in "how to brainwash most of the population" Orwell style. The only way to shut them up is to start winning. And soon.
