120m is nothing literally 150 is bare minimum and even then it won’t go a long way with how much a good CL run could be worth to us, might be better to keep ideal situation get Sesko, new contract with Isak at 250k with gentleman’s agreement to leave or even release clause at 160m Im sure if Yasir has a personal conversation he can be quite persuasive especially with the wealth available to them.

Sesko and Wissa would be very good actually. 70 + 30. Scalvini or Guehi (40m) Paqueta (30m) Replacement GK (30m) £200m spend. Perhaps £50m-70m net spend depending what we get for Isak. The Ekitike money. Tons of PSR room. That would be all positions covered that we need help in.

We’ll be looking back at this summer in 20 years as the Elanga summer where we didn’t make the most of the our opportunities, like the Bowyer summer, Anita summer and Dalglish’s dads army summer.

If I didn't know how last year ended up, I would say it actually feels like a strange world where we didn't win a trophy and actually MISSED out on Champions League and Villa got it instead. That's how we've acted this summer. Last time we were in CL, Tonali was clearly number one target and we executed perfectly. But Tino, Barnes, Hall etc were all identified early doors and brought in. Ashworth did get deals done, well. If we missed out, I would have said, Isak would want out, most of our targets would want to play for CL level clubs and we'd only get players from clubs where we are a clear upgrade - e.g Elanga or Wissa. But we bloody got CL AND won a trophy. Why aren't we acting like it?!

We'll end up buying over the odds at the airport duty free on the way home (i.e. bidding 100m on Muniz on Transfer Deadline day)
