btw, can someone give me just 1 fair reason for playing cisse on the wing? he could have played him next to shola....or better (if not on top) saved him tonight and kept him fresh for southampton. imo he is more or less our most important player for the rest of the season.

maybe at home. Tonight we looked like things were under control. But we hardly created a chance....the penalty was a gift. cisse on the right...deeper than sissoko. Shola for 90 mintues.....come on....you call that spot? i surely do not. cisse offers nothing on the wing...he scored 2 in the first leg on top and pards puts him back on the wing. Never seen such a dangerous striker being wasted so much.

like that. my main worry is cabaye, sissoko and cisse. we need them against southampton...but they should be able to play 2 matches in short time. Problem is cisse has to play every minute for the rest of the season...if gouffran isn´t available. can´t take more of shola. What does his teammates think of his game?....he most be feel quiet silly

did well as RB...but maybe play him as CB and simpson on RB against Metalist away...in order to give taylor or colo a rest.

Shola's rubbish, but without Gouffran he's the only available striker. Sissoko was playing brilliantly, why move him? just push him a bit forward. anitas drive, speed, passing, work rate, vision, technic and shooting is much more useful. shola doesn´t offer any of these attributes....its like playing with 10 men for the last 15 mintues. The last many games shola have not even been able to function as a target man.

him and his team in the mid 90´s are the reason why i started following NUFC. It was magical. Best years of football for me. happy birthday

love that team , but rather have Marveaux than Jonas , and Pardew would never play Cabaye in this position , which is a shame cause if is protected by Sissoko an Tioté , he could dictate the game easily ala Pirlo or Verratti . that defence...or should i say missing. Santon and debuchy as 2 out of 3 defenders. Come on.
