we should concentrate on defenders and midfielders.....especially cb and midfielders ! jonas can play lb if needed...he has played there for argentina!

Not really excited about this deal....dont know him at all tbf! but 26 years old and he cannot get into a weak pompey side Would prefer we signed someone younger with more potential to improve in skills and value. but that would probably cost twice as much, i know! hope he surprises me.....though im not that optimistic! cover for LB is important though!

i hope and it seems like he is good at motivating the players and keeping them happy. Tactically he is not good enough...which will be a problem in the PL. A happy and motivated squad can go far....but if we go up and he will have to handle "bigger" players and hopefully a wider squad, i think the harmony within the squad easily could be interrupted....plus we wont win as many matches next year, if we go up. keep him and let him have his chance, should we see a takeover i think he will be sacrificed almost no matter what.

me too....even though i haven´t seen him in action. I don´t like the loanees who keep promising youngsters out of the team (in general)

we should keep him unless we can get 8 mill plus or so, and have good replacement set up. He will be important next year! Cant see us finding a replacement as good as him. Colo and taylors partnership could be very important for us next year!

we dont need harewood....we have 4 strikers in Løvenkrands, caroll, ranger and ameobi! spend the money elsewhere or save them for next year when we play in the PL. If any of the 4 doesn´t seem to be good enough for the PL we can sell them. They really have the opportunity to shine in this league...which means they will be worth something if we dont want them around next year! Always thought harewood was a weird signing.....we or ashley want to save money.....why have five strikers?? I know ameobi was injuried but everybody is fit and playing well! if we get injuries we can also play nolan behind the lone striker! think we should sign (young) players with potential for the PL instead of loanees!

Neither Wiland og Christiansen is better than Harper... and Copenhagen would probably demand £3-4m anyway, not worth it at all... ' didn´t say they were and wouldn´t want nufc to sign any of them for that price....but cant see any of them being much different from harper who is not getting younger!

cant see championship football in denmark....so must be what i hate the most! another thing annoying me is....and this is not so much about the championship itself: BUT im really sad/frustrated/annoyed that we dont spend our time in the championship to prepare properly for the future....rather spend a year more here in the championship if we had a good concept to follow/develop. Now we are just trying to get up, and in my opinion only a very few in our squad has PL potential! it will be more expensive (if we win promotion, which i think we do) to buy proven players next year....really really hate that it doesn´t seem like we spend our time properly. I know i dont have seen any games this year so far....but nothing gives me the impression that we are going anywhere. Feels like we are standing still and time is passing by! hughton should never had the job long term we should try and develop our own players instead for playing loanees We should try to buy (young) players who might have the potential to develop into pl players. half a year in the championship and to settle in the area would be very good for everybody. We should go for potential players in coming window. replace loanees with promising players....there are many cheap players out there....scandinavia for example....some would be a gamle, but still better than loanees imo.

the window is closed....now he knows is staying until january at least! He will hopefully be motivated by our position in the league, getting called up for Argentina and still he hopes to attract barca´s interest again or other champions league clubs, i guess!

I will explain myself here. Yes, I still want Shearer....BUT...I dont think we should replace Hughton before Ashley leaves the club. Im really sad the club is still in the hands of Ashley....I really hope a takeover could happen before christmas! If that happens and the new owner turns to Shearer I wouldn´t mind at all. Im not a local guy...so its a bit hard to judge how Shearer influences the club....but he is a young and ambious person who really care for the club....he could do a good job in getting us back to the PL. A takeover in the winter will mean promotion....for sure! At the moment we can´t really complain much about our team since they are winning.....but for me we still have "problems" and the problem is Ashley...of course! If he left and we appointed a new manager before christmas...Shearer for example. Then he would have time and a january window to find some players with potential for the PL...next season! Atm we are signing players on loan....we have to, i know...but this is not the best way to prepare for next in the PL. A january window where we signed 3 players or so for the future would do wonders for us in the long run. Im really happy to see the youngsters getting their chance....and as long as we are winning they should be picked over the loanees in order to further development....so carroll and Ranger over Harewood any time....if they do their job that is! Should we win promotion with this squad then we still have to replace half the starting 11(at least) beginning the start of next season....what im saying is that i hope a takeover would happen before christmas so that we can start a long term strategy asap....coz at the moment i cant really see us going anywhere in terms of concepts on the field. To etablish us in the PL we need a manager we believe in....and not a caretaker (Hughton) We must develop a concept/strategy all the way down through the ranks..so the young players learn and know their role. Money will be problem in the future i guess...so we need youngsters coming through the ranks.....which is much more enjoyable as well! I happy to see us bringing on some of the younger players....even though im not that impressed about our academy....which i thought had better players or more mature!
