How De Gea only has four caps for Spain I'll never know. Evra will play in his fifth CL final and for a third different team. He's only won one of the other four.

Watching the first half and think Neuer should have saved the second goal. The ball landed maybe inches away from where his foot was before he decided to dive. He could have made a kick save.

Was he the one who assisted Cisse's winner against Fulham? I remember him going ballistic after one of his assists and I think it was that one.

I think N-O members have made me dislike him. He gets a lot of praise but doesn't really do anything. He did ok on the weekend, mind.

Kind of agree on Cisse, him bailing Pardew out didn't help either. Really frustrating watching him play as well with some of the braindead offside runs he makes and his inability to pass or control the ball in certain games. I can't bring myself to hate him mind but I don't share the same affection a lot of fans do for him either. Quite similar to how I felt about Martins when he was here. Ahh, I'm slow. Wish we had a midfield that could keep the ball as he would thrive. Earlier in the season, he'd receive the ball with two or three players surrounding him and somehow find a way out. It was great to watch. Kinda funny how we're pinning our survival hopes on a 21 year old kid from the Second division in Spain.

Huh? I was basing off the way he plays. He's more of an attacking midfielder than the standard #9. In fact, I think the 10 would be the best fit.

Another excellent piece. I don't understand why none of these teams look at Sevilla's success in the Uefa Cup as an example of what can be done. They might win it a fourth time and I think are still in contention for fourth place.

At LB he hoofs it a lot more because he doesnt have the pace to beat a man. I can't remember any crosses he's put in either. But at CB he's a lot more composed. He's not the best but I feel a lot more confident when I see him in the teamsheet in that position. Provided we ship Colo and sign a new CB, I wouldn't mind him starting next season relegated or not.

I've always thought that Flamini lacked the bottle to play for a team like ours. He'd be judged at higher standard and I could see him crumbing under the pressure.

Would rather someone state their mind than a boring "it was nice gesture. I appreciated it". Sherwood does it in his interviews and its refreshing. Of course this does not relate to Carver who should never speak.
