I saw Van Ginkle one time for Chelsea vs Man City in a pre season friendly before he got injured and he was very impressive. Controlled the midfield and was wasn't afraid to tackle. That was like two years ago so doubt he's the same now.

I liked Ba a lot more, too. I expected him to score against whoever we were playing and most times he did. He scored some spectacular goals here and they'd pop out of nowhere like the one against Spurs. Wasn't expecting that at all. Remy was good but he was injured a lot and only really scored against poor opposition. Also, he got three braces for us - Stoke(9 men) Cardiff and Hull so his ratio doesn't mean much when you take this into consideration.

I'm not panicing just yet. Last summer we signed the Ajax captain and Internationals in Cabella and Janmaat. The De Jong deal came out of nowhere and usually a lot of our deals do. Cabaye, Sissoko, Gouffran weren't reported much in the press and the bam we signed them. I feel that we'll sign some quality players. No need to go shopping in the Championship just yet. We're much better than that.

I disagree. I thought Hughes was pretty poor last game. He didn't use the ball well at all. He tried to force his short passing game when there were better options available. Also missed a guilt edged chance. Way too much hesitation in him for this stage I feel.

Ward Prowse is a beast any time I see him for England youth and decent for Southampton. He also has a great set piece on him. Nathan Redmond just had a great season for Norwich. I've been seeing his name linked with a few decent clubs. Its comforting knowing that Kane has 8 in 11 and Berahino has 10 in 11. We could realistically win this competition. I'm getting my hopes up, guys.

We were awful in the first half. So slow just like every other England team. The second half was a huge improvement. Henderson was better at RB than in midfield. I think he was involved in all the goals. I thought Sterling played well, too. He has the quality to cause chaos and stretch defenses. Rooney really needs to work on his finishing. He should have had at least two today. I wasn't pleased when I saw Wilshere's name in the team sheet but I was dead wrong. Two incredible goals. The second being the best goal I've seen in God knows how long. Maybe that Joe Cole goal against Sweeden was the last good one I saw. Great performance from him. He really needs to stay fit this season. Walcott, too. He's someone I feel has the a strong belief in his own ability and can score when it matters.

Liked how excited he got about Solano. Excellent finish for that equalizer.
