Would people take going into the last game vs Everton needing a win to guarantee CL?

When you look at Villa’s squad compared to ours it’s no surprise they were able to maintain league form alongside the long champions league run. We’ve got a great team, not a great squad. Here’s hoping it doesn’t require a purple going in order to fund it.

Regular Champions League participation is how we grow as a cloob. If we get CL then I’m absolutely convinced that Isak, Sandro et al all stay and we also add 4/5 quality players to the squad (GK, CB, RW, ST) Rinse and repeat for 2 or 3 years and we become genuine title challengers.

Think I’m right in saying that Chelsea will likely be playing away the Thursday before our game, most likely in Vienna. Not a massive amount of travelling, but not getting back until the early hours of Friday morning then having to travel up here on the Saturday for a Sunday lunchtime game will hopefully favour us.

The “bantz” over why he is in hospital is pretty grim like, especially when you don’t know what is going on. For example, my mate was fit as a fiddle 2 months ago, went to the GP in first week of February with shortness of breath. A couple of days later he was told he had stage 4 stomach cancer which has spread to his lungs and lymph nodes. I’m up for a bit of light heartedness at most things in life, but health is one of the few exceptions. Maybe I’m just a boring old man now.
