  2. So once sports direct takes the hit and we are used to a branded st James park if someone is willing to pay then it will be all change again?
  3. I wonder why he did not put it on our shirts rather then renewing norther rock.

agree with that, i like the players we have - all seem to want to play for the team and pulling in the right direction, good s***! And the players we don't like are almost out the door We just don't know which of the new ones we don't like yet
  5. Geordie equivalent of the Berlin wall coming down?
  6. A coordinated plan nation wide to "vandalise" sports direct shops with Newcastle united signs would be quite ironic.

    Sunderland...

I quite enjoyed the day Sunderland and boro went down and we got in the champions league:) I think they deserved to be happy and rub our noses on it then (villa different story). "best day I football" is a bit sad mind. Lets be honest here getting into the Champions League was the key part of it seeing as we all expected Liverpool to stuff Shef Wed, the rest was just a nice little bonus on the top. True... was the icing on the cake.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Really looking forward to seeing him play for a couple games.
  10. Second this. It's done for the match threads, and would be useful - eg "Davide Santon sent for scan after knee injury (pg 95)" Good idea Yeah that would be cool. If this was maintained it could be quite interesting down the line to see a history of the players key topics.
  11. There is, just click on "New". I thought new tried to take you to the point in a thread that you have read up to. I was talking about the scenario where I have not read a thread for a long time. Something significant occurs and I want to start reading from that point. I doubt this would be possible as how would a button know where the significant new event started. Take the st James thread. It's interesting for a while but then turns into a bit of a yawn. Then the thread is updated to say there is a new image. Now I'm interested again. But I have to search the thread for the images. Hope this isn't taken the wrong way. I'm only casual browser just pointing out what can be frustrating. Aye, click on "new". I click on new on a thread that I have not read and it takes me to a post from Tuesday. Which is the whole point of "new", it takes you back to when the original "new post" was posted. Take today, if you clicked "new" on the Davide Santon thread having not been online at all today, it would have taken you to the "new post"/update that he had a knee injury. I have been on line most days. Take the shame ferguson thread. I've never read it. I click new it goes to page 16. New Posts today are on page 29.

  14. I like the one thread personally. The only negative I find is having to navigate backwards through the thread to find the start of the latest topic ( the injury for example). It's a shame you can't keep one thead but find a way to link to this from main page. Maybe along side the numbers there could be a link to first post of the day.
  15. Pretty accurate. We got exactly no points off them last year.

Can't remember him ever being that downbeat in a an interview.
  17. Team at home on a buzz due to decent signings against a team on a downer due to lack of striker bad press etc. glad the game is over and happy with a point. Seen us lose games like that so many times. No point overreacting on this one.
  18. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jackanory Really?
  19. Fine... But do they think it is fiction based on knowledge or do they think it is fiction based on gut.
  20. If you have something to say... Say it and justify it. If you don't don't. I don't like the one liners ridiculing something without backing it up.
