  1. Nufc.com: Here it is for those unable to view it. We hope you're sitting comfortably.... Jackanory. Really like their match reports but the "we know something, we'll imply it but not say it" is really getting old.

Lol Edit... So good I quoted it twice it seems...
  3. Answers were better than I expected. Its easy to pick holes and read between the lines but I can't really be bothered to do that. Overal I think it's the first positive communication from the club on a while. I don't really trust dl or ma but I'm just a bit bored with the negativity I just want to enjoy the football. I guess I am in the "we don't care about ashley... All we care about is nufc...." camp rather than the "get out of our club... Get out of our..." one.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

That would have broke any players leg, apart from Colo and Tiote. They're both cyborgs. Lol true.
  5. Good questions. Shame the answers will be shite.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Based on nothing but gut feeling... I recon the tackle on :colo: in the sunderland match would have broke his leg.

    Leon Best

watching the game again on football first.. Bests goal comes from his total inability to head the ball. He tries to score with his head. Totally fucks it up and the ball lands at his feet... lol.

Spot on. His heading yesterday was pretty embarrassing. Not even close to hitting the right part of his head. He gets in the positions surely the heading technique is something that could he taught.
  9. Dunno, I think he's being straight. Nothing wrong with it btw, I'm just surprised he's came out and said it. For me it just adds weight to the theory that we went into the window trying to flog him. The price that we wanted was know. Pardew knew the score. That would be fine to a degree what I do not like is the gamble that they did not need to replace him and the rubbish that came out regarding bids for players with minutes left in the window. For me that was all horse crap intended only to placate us. Then came the "all the money will be reinvested". Then when people start calming down the line changes to "we are in financial trouble money needed we will sell again". If we went into the window trying to flog him we should have had a replacement ready for when the deal went through.
  10. 5-4 Leicester is still the best for me just for personal reasons. I had moved down to Leicester that year and at 4-2 knew the abuse I was going to receive from everybody kids and teachers on Monday. Then from no where it was 5-4. Plus the night before I had a dream we won 5-4
  11. 35m is a ton of money I just can't see us being better off with it rather than the player. 7m for Cole felt like a lot, 12m for Milner felt like a lot. Rooney put in transfer request, Tevez put in a transfer request, Adams puts in a transfer request. The teams with ambitions fought for their player. We could have built our team around him for the next 10 years. He could have been our Shearer/Le Tissier/Steve Bull/Scholes type player. I really think if the club had said to him your our future we don't want to sell you he'd still be a Newcastle player. Really pretty gutted this morning.
  12. I'm quite surprised by the poll result. I'm sure if any of Ashleys mob see that they will be laughing as much as Rednap was yesterday.
  13. Sorry, did you watch the f***ing game? Ranger had no support at all. Did well to get to that position and had a realistic chance of scoring if he shot. If he'd played it across there was man free on back post. Played it back there was a man there free as well I think.

    Alan Pardew

I think money will be available. If Ashley see a return on that investment then more money will be appear. If ashley loses trust in him like the insider quotes on houton implied then knocking on the door is going to achieve little. I hope pardew makes some good choices early on.
  16. He fell for every dive going (from both sides), but seemingly missed every real foul going. I'd be surprised, but this is Lee Mason we're talking about. http://nimg.sulekha.com/sports/original700/wayne-rooney-lee-mason-2009-8-16-11-43-47.jpg That photo is class. My expression was either that or anger pretty much when ever his whistle blew. The icing on the cake was when we were breaking from the back and he brought us back for a free kick. He waited to see we had an advantage then blew.

    Joey Barton

Great to see a player who wants the ball. Guthrie was scared of it, Barton wanted it. Played simple balls and killer ones. One of his best performances for me today.
  18. Loved his reactions after missing the header and scoring the goal. Missing the header he looked genuinely annoyed with himself. After goal he looked so happy, kid at Christmas smile going on.
  19. I can't remember a ref giving so many bad decisions. Not big ones but just consistently gave decisions against us that were wrong. Doubt he was paid off but I would not be surprised at all if he was a closet Liverpool fan. Shocking.

    Sol Campbell

His mistakes cost one goal could have cost two more. He looks really nervous on the ball. Really bad day for him today.
