I don't believe any of the holding onto the club out of spite stuff. What we do know about Ashley is that he is a gambler. Will he take an offer on the table or gamble the fact that he might not sell the club for the sake of making an extra million? The whole sale thing has probably come down to a big game or roulette for him.

I don't think we will be sold :-[ Ashley needs out as this club is in a massive mess due to the wage bill. Anyone who has 100m will need to find another probably another 50m just to balance the books this year. Then will need more as our squad is not good enough to get promoted. I don't know what is better; a first team regular who knows he is playing on Wednesday and plays at 50% as he want to avoid injury or a fringe squad member who plays 100% in order to maybe get on the bench for Wednesday.

My issues with Mike Ashley running Newcastle were lack of communication and a belief that he was taking money out of the club. It looks like the management have realized that they need to communicate with us. It looks like no money is being taken out of the club. I hope we can get all the negativity of the KK departure, sale of the club, demonstrations, "it is a Fact" press release, etc behind us. I just want to have a buzz about us again.

I am in the camp that this is Owen leaving but he does not have the bottle to go in front of us for 90 minutes us knowing that. He will disappear in the summer somewhere.
