The Life and Times of 'Entertaining' Mario Balotelli
FrenchWilliam replied to Ketsbaia's topic in Football
From that article: "the latest incident is unlikely to lead to any form of disciplinary action". Is it just me or is that line used in every Balotelli article? -
Always wondered why that wasn't the first club every billionaire tried to buy. Seems more appropriate.

No different to the 100s of posts in the Andy Carroll thread discussing us getting him back for similar price.

Would be interested to know whether Gary Neville does his own homework/prep or if it's all scripted or prepared for him. Seems to talk sense either way, more interesting listening to him than 90% of other pundits.

We've got a nice run of fixtures between Chelsea and Liverpool like [/jinx].

Obviously clean sheets are good, but it's also not too bad having a shitty defence in front of the keeper. Al-habsi racks up a canny few points just on making saves, not always keeping clean sheets.

Either that, or if they'd got something out the derby, I reckon he'd have another couple of months.

Not sure if this guy's serious. Goes on to make several more posts restating and emphasising his point.

The only plausible thing about that story is Kean being linked with wronguns in Glasgow. Looks like a smackhead tramp.

Agree too, but that could equally just lead to someone intentionally getting their 5th yellow just before a Wigan match to avoid serving a suspension in a 'bigger' match. Absolute possibility, but it's the same competition at least. Stamping it out completely is impractical to enforce/impossible, really. Also the merits for doing so are questionable. My suggestion is (I think!) feasible, enforceable and logical. Definitely. Think it makes more sense than allowing it to be served in the LC. But, like you say, it there's little merit and it's just change for change's sake really. I don't think it's a problem that needs stamping out anyway.

Yeah read that a few times today, I guess it's been water under the bridge. I have an Everton supporting mate, saw him this morning and he was gutted when we heard the news. Fwiw, all the Everton fans I'm aware of are equally gutted at this and are as disbelieving as NUFC fans on this board. IIRC the Everton fans were pissed off that he left the club, in fact Wikipedia seems to back this up: Maybe to do with this? As much as I hate to defend Terry, there's nowt wrong with it imo.

Is that the first game since the cut-prise STs came out? Or were they already in place for Everton? Or is everyone just buzzing about getting to the first game at SDA?
-
Whether he was right or wrong, the sheer confusion of him, our back four and Aguero shows the rule needs clarifying imo.
