  1. Not by much, they are still parallel and are pretty much heading south before banking east to avoid Kosovo etc. Next few minutes will be telling. Had to leave my flightradar screen for a bit, so did GLF5 land on a Greek island and is now heading north again ? Picking up Nikos Dabizas I reckon, wasn't he touted for a job under the new regime Nope, it's still heading South East. Just finished a bit of work I had to get out there, so back on flight radar it is. Fucking bliss Another GLF4 took off from Jeddah a few minutes ago, seems to be going the wrong way though. Mandys helicopter landed at Biggin Hill then a while later LJ45 private jet took off heading south, probably off to pick up Bale. https://www.flightradar24.com/LJ45/248a15aa The interesting one is a C56X which took off from Nice heading for the UK https://www.flightradar24.com/C56X/248a000f Hope our GLF5 doesn't land in Heraklion like that other GLF5 I spotted. Still at 41,000ft so no signs of a descent yet, stay calm.
  2. I feel like Bud Fox stalking Larry Wildman during the Anacott Steel deal

There's a different GLF5 that's heading north from Heraklion towards Athens. Our takeover GLF5 is heading towards Heraklion, hence the confusion.
  4. It's definitely an odd coincidence that a private jet lands in Newcastle, stays for an hour, then flies to Saudi Arabia, whilst at the same time there's noise last night from credible sources that the takeover had shifted positively. I'd guess that a medical repatriation from Newcastle to Saudi Arabia is a pretty rare event.
  5. So this morning I'm dragging my youngest kid out of their scratcher at 9am when I hear a plane and look out the window to see a private jet landing at Newcastle. Next thing I'm spend 8 hrs staring at Flightradar watching the same plane fly to Riyadh. Funny how life can take unexpected turns.
  6. It's made the slight turn They're leaving it late to drop from 41000 feet and land at Geneva, they gonna put it into a nosedive ?
  7. They're at 41000ft, should start dropping altitude soon if they're Geneva bound
  8. Aye, this one: https://www.flightradar24.com/GLF5/2489d389 Gonna check it again in a while and see where it's going. You should keep an eye on this one too. https://www.flightradar24.com/GBHVV/2489c7aa Look at the state of it, nee chance I'd get in that thing.
  9. Aye, this one: https://www.flightradar24.com/GLF5/2489d389 Gonna check it again in a while and see where it's going. I'm watching it like a hawk. Literally can't take my eyes of it. Changed my computer monitors to dual screen.
  10. I thought the Gulfstream was heading to Heathrow, but they've flown straight over and are still going south east in the direction of Riyad. It was only in Newcastle an hour, but that's enough time to hand over some keys. :frantic: :frantic:
  11. That's the one that flew in from Stansted this morning. There was a Dassault private jet this morning that took off from Teeside, then circled Scarborough a few times, then went out over the North Sea doing random loops before flying back in. I was fascinated by it. I really need to sort my life out.
  12. It's likely a Medevac aircraft - https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/hz-ms5b Photograph shows the words "Saudi Medevac" on the side of the aircraft. Doesn't mean it couldn't be used for what we'd like, but is more likely a medical flight. I had a look on Flightradar and it came up from Stansted. Any plane coming into land catches my attention at the moment, the skies are so quiet and it's provides a bit of excitement in the endlessly repetitive days
  13. A Gulfstream jet just flew over Tynemouth on its way to land at Newcastle :frantic: :frantic:
  14. Christopher Johnston (on twitter) has dismissed this ages ago. Catch up man. That's Stifler, man. Still true. My cousin put a picture of the plane up as well as her child saw it and it’s been a while since they have seen a plane coming into Newcastle. I’ve made a thread on Twitter where I have explained that theirs not going to be a Saudi entourage coming into Newcastle to complete the deal or announce the takeover. Theirs no point in looking at private jets. Staveley and Jamie Reuben are unlikely to be using private jets to fly into Newcastle, and likely won’t come into Newcastle until after the takeover has been completed. Everything is going to be done by lawyers in London. I saw the plane over Tynemouth as it came in to land 4 x engines on the bird, which is unusual around these parts
  15. Aye, the Loog Oldham version / Verve sample sounds fuck all like the Stones version. Took the piss that they got 100% royalties.
  16. Breaking news today that Chris Rea and Dire Straits are forming a new group together Dire Rea
  17. Pal of mine was getting a loft conversion done, got home from work early so thought he'd head upstairs and see how the builder was getting on. Caught the builder crouched down curling a turd onto a sheet of newspaper because he couldn't be arsed to go downstairs and use the portaloo.
  18. People love Gavin & Stacey and it has characters named Shipman, West and Sutcliffe, the general public will generally be offended / amused by whatever Facebook or the tabloids tell them to be offended / amused by
  19. Could have been worse.... Could have woken up with Jim White inside you.
  20. Lazy bastard. Triggs with a Giggs. Love it.
  21. Makes sense, I suppose. Maybe better off with an ant eater, not sure if its from the canine family. I've never seen any anteaters knocking about in Prudhoe
  22. Boxers have such stubby faces and loads of drool If a dog was snuffling my rear end I'd prefer a long nosed breed, like a saluki
  23. When this takeover happens I’m off to Prudhoe, smearing Winalot on me barse and whistling the mating call of a boxer dog
  24. Rehills is one of the things I've missed most whilst being housebound. We've hardly been out for the entire lockdown so it doesn't feel appropriate to drive down there from the coast just to get my paws on some artisan beers, but their selection is magnificent and I really miss browsing it.
