  1. at the end of the day Ashley was making sound decisions that Keegan apparently disagreed with: Sell Smith - he's been shite. Get rid Sell Barton - He's a liability. Get rid Sell Milner - Overated at 12mil. Bite Villa's hand off Sell Owen - Jury out on this one. Well all know that he's holding the club to ransom for megawages or will ferk off once his contracts up. Take the money, or get rid. Hard to call. I would take Ashleys / Board side on all those points. And had decent replacements been lined up I'm sure we'd have all been happy with the transfers. I can see the logic behind what he was doing it was the execution that they ferked up. Hopefully todays discussions will right the wrongs and we can build on from there. Like back in '92
  2. Sky are going all out to keep stirring things up. Their negative spin is beyond a joke. And now they've got John McGurrick (sp) on as an expert pundit. For fucks sake !!!!!
  3. Realistically, neither scenario is going to end with him selling the club. A few wins later and all will be forgotten/forgiven. I can't see Ashley hanging about long term if he can't be "one of the lads".
  4. the way i see it Ashley has 2 options. And it's lose / lose for him. he seems like he is too arrogant to accept that the fans are bigger than him at this club. 1 - get rid of Keegan. Face the wrath of the majority of fans. never recover from it and have to sell up 2 - keep keegan but admit defeat ref. the new structure. have his authority publicly undermined and have to sell up
  5. SSN is so annoying to watch, I'm going to avoid watching it after yesterdays rubbish. Sky is a joke full stop. The treatment of the NUFC story y'day just serves to highlight how vindicative, premumptious and manipulative they are. Think of all the other stories they do this with where the truth also gets brushed aside. Don't let the truth get in the way of a good story taken to extreme levels..... On an unrelated note a mate of mine saw Shearer this morning and he reckons he knows nowt but thinks the club are once again a laughing stock.
  6. I am not joking when I say I'll ask for my money back. They've well and truly shafted us this time.
  7. fucks sake. what a fucking joke of a club we are. words can't describe how fucked off I am. Season tickets sold on the lies of Keegan in charge and players coming in. What chance of getting my money back ?
  8. I get the feeling that nowt about any activity will be confirmed by the club until tmrw morning at the earliest. We can speculate until the cows come home but nowt will be official. It's the way that Ashley likes to do things.
  9. Citeh can bid for anyone they like but doubt most will happen. Villa turns down Real Madrid but fancies a move to a mid table side based in the pissing wet hellhole that is Manchester. My arse !
  10. out of all the "big 4" you are the ones I would definitely want to win the league. even if wenger does look like a peado.
  11. expected the result. arsenal are a class above us. biggest worry is the state and size of our squad. a small squad now reduced to threadbare by injuries. we need more bodies and we need fitter bodies. if we don't get 4/5 more in by monday night then we're ferked. whilst the signings that have come in look quality there's been nowhere near enough, once again we are scrapping around on deadline day when we've had all summer to go after the right players. that's what pisses me off.
  12. whats Ruel Fox up to these days ?
  13. We weren't on form but picked up the 3 points and played some decent football. Jonas again looked a class act, agree with the previous comments that he will have caught the eye of Champs League level clubs with his early performances. Colo looked great too, solid as a rock and good with the ball on the deck. who was the black guy that warmed up for Bolton but never came on ? He was possible the biggest footballer I've ever seen. He looked like Big John Coffee out of Green Mile.
  14. the seating arrangements need sorting out to cope with a sub 50k crowd. last season most of the empty seats seemed to be up in the gallowgate side of level 7 which is the best place to have gaps as it impacts less on the atmosphere and look of the ground. yesterday there were hundreds of empty seats right next to the away fans and a chunks of empty seats right behind the goal in the leazes. this creates an impression that the ground is empty and also affects the atmosphere. they should just get everyone in the singing section to move about 2 blocks to their left, that would soon sort the problem.
  15. with the squad they've got it's unlikely they won't turn things round. However it's nice watching them get off to a shocker after the money they've spent and the expectations they had coming into the season. I enjoy laughing at Tottenham in the way that fans of other teams like laughing at us.
  16. Couldnt agree more. Fucking scumbags at Sky. "It's been a dark summer for Newcastle" Errrrm. How do you justify that ? Apart from Barton it's been a fairly uneventful summer. Fucking Murdoch and his arse licking clowns rimming the living daylights out of Man U as usual......
  17. the couple of reports I've seen so far have mentioned Man U being roobed by the "Milner Handball"..... Well what about the fucking Jonas hack down when through on goal ?!?!!?! Mr Burns fucked up big style by not giving that. It was a blatant penno. Fucking Man U biased media scum.
  18. he was class today. he's here, he's there, he's every fucking where, spidermaaaan, spidermaaaan. looks like a top notch signing.
  19. getting a point against them cunts has made my day. I'd love to see the faces of the turbanators in their shite KK t shirts. Deal with that you glory seeking cunts ! One game does not a season make but how satisfying to go to the Theatre of Tourists and ruin their day. There'll be some misserable feckers on the train back to London who will no doubt ring MUFC and ask for their money back....
  20. How the feck can Jonas still not be sorted, its ages since he agreed terms. Could it be a case of KK bluffing to try and surprise Taggart with an unexpected line up ?
  21. When though? Incase you haven't noticed the season is about to start. And you have to admit the hold up is suspicious. Keegan is just keeping Taggart on his toes. Taggart will be trying to plan his tactics for Sunday and we'll rock up at kick off with Colo in defence, Joe Cole, Arshavin and Messi in midfield and Van Nistelroy up front.
  22. wonder if the police have interviewed him about those poor chinese feckers who got murdered at the weekend....
  23. I saw him driving his range rover past manors towards byker at 8.30am today. As far as I could see he wasn't chinning anyone.
