  1. Spot on. The league is tighter than I can remember it for a long time. The only major gap is 5 points between 6th & 7th. so who is going down then ? Asked me in August and I would have said Hull, Stoke and 1 from Fulham, Wigan, WBA, Bolton. Things have clearly become a lot more worrying since then.
  2. what worries me most is when you look at the results the other teams around us have got this weekend. I couldn't see us getting 3 points from any of these matches but other bottom of the table sides walked away with 3 points. Pompey away Arsenal at home Liverpool at home Man City at home Given our off field situation and on field performances I have a genuine fear of relegation. The only upside is that at least its only November and theoretically we have time to turn to things round.
  3. Aye, it's almost as if some of us are from Newcastle-upon-Tyne. What a stupid f***ing thing to say. What? Now that was a stupid thing to say. Blaming the system, the owners, Kinnear etc is bloody stupid and pointless. They pretty much had their strongest team out and we didn't even come close. I think we would have beaten them easily otherwise. We played alright on the whole and they played well. But hey let's play the blame game all over again! That's so much more fun! I blame Owne for having muscle tissue made out of tissue paper! I blame Freddy Shepherd and John Hall for selling the club to that evil non-Geordie Mike Ashley! I blame Keegan for being a stroppy little man! yada, yada, yada, yada bollox. Two players (Owen, Viduka) from our best team. Sorry, but you can't blame injuries on this one. Jonas got 15 mins because he only just returned, as did Barton. If they are fit enough to play the 90, we win this game easily imo. Beye still isn't quite right either and Martins doesn't look very sharp. How would we win it easily? When they'd both probably be bypassed anyway with the ball being aimed far beyond their reaches. Did you watch the match? Did you see what happened after they both came on? You don't have the first clue what this means to people from this area so why bother offering comment? f***s sake What's your problem? Kaka thinks I'm overreacting. I say that when he's actually seen the Tyne Bridge, he'll have the right to tell me I'm overreacting to a derby defeat. Until then, he should keep his f***ing nose out. Oh I'm so torn up inside because the local Geordies don't accept me as a Newcastle supporter! Whatever will I do with myself! If you think that gets to me your dead wrong. I'll support who the hell I want and in whatever manner I choose to. One thing I know for sure is that I support the club a whole lot better than some of the lot that gaze at the Tyne bridge all day. Very ignorant statement. Anyway ... my point about over reacting was in relation to dragging up the whole Ashley vs the Geordies bollox because we lost a close derby game at a very improved Sunderland side. That is an embarrassing over reaction. By all means vent your frustraton over the game, but for f*** sake the world vs Ashley nonsense has been done to death already. No need drudging it up after every loss. Pathetic. "If you think that gets to me your dead wrong. I'll support who the hell I want and in whatever manner I choose to. " you have to be fucking kidding.....
  4. fucking acceptable to be up out your seat and running round the pitch to abuse a player ? the makem cunts were well out of order, when do you see that shit happen at SJP ? if that had happened at our place there'd be 50 pics of "suspects" in the chronicle !
  5. fucking good. I hope they wiped their arses on the seats before they chucked them joey barton goes to take a corner and 3000 makems are out of their seats trying to twat him from the stands. gassing would be too lenient for those cunts.
  6. time to bomb the fukcing shitehole. a 2-1 win over the weakest NUFC side for 15 years and you'd think the inbred cunts had won the fucking Champions League. I hope some inbred heads got stoved in.
  7. All I hope is that some of them inbred makem cunts got their heads stoved in outside the ground. I can deal with getting beat, we've got Joe Kinnear as manager for fucks sake. What I can't deal with is the thought of no makems suffering serious physical harm at the hands of the 3000 hardy souls who went down to that shitehole and got behind the lads.
  8. it's pointless being a good player if your always injured and never play. end of story.
  9. I heard the FA were planting those kids there to encourage more Watford fans to follow premiership teams and give up supporting Watford. All part of an elaborate conspiracy to bring the club to its knees.
  10. There's a bloke you should go and see lad, he's a specialist at curing the fear of public toliets. He uses a revolutionary treatment that involves tooting on a crack pipe then tooting on his pink pipe. His name's George Michael.
  11. I said I thought it was a result of problems with both management (training, physio etc) and recruiting players who are injury prone and / or lazy skiving bastards. And Martins may recover from injuries fairly quickly but he also seems to pick up injuries a lot. I don't have his injury record to hand though so am just going on gut feel. Look at someone like Ronaldo. Has surgery on a serious injury and is back ahead of schedule. Compare to someone like Viduka who only bothers his fat arse to play about 1/3 of a season.
  12. I don't have a problem with foreign fans but I know I could never just pick a side and then follow them. Personally I'll never understand how people in Surrey, Hertfordshire, Beijing, Manilla, Sydney etc can just make that decision. And I'll definitely never understand why people would choose the shitheap that is NUFC ! But credit to them for not just going down the Man U route. when I lived in Australia I followed the Roosters and Sydney Swans cos they were my local sides. Same happened in Argentina with Boca Juniors too. And I support NUFC cos I'm a born and bred geordie.
  13. as far as I'm concerned the injury situation is not a valid excuse for our shite side. it happens season after season and normally involves the same players (Viduka, Enrique, Martins etc). it's poor player management and recruitment that is to blame.
  14. 3 nil to Blackburn our defence struggle to gel, the midfield have no creativity and the strikers get no service. ground half empty with 15 mins to go. Kinnear watching from directors box but is sacked on Monday morning. we are sold to Robert Mugabe on Wednesday and he installs the Chuckle brothers as joint managers For the everton game the team wear red noses, massive flapping shoes and green curly wigs. Nicky Butt and Steven Taylor have a custard pie fight halfway through the first half. Just before half time Duff squirts the ref in the eye using with water from a plastic flower.
  15. No. we have a small sqaud and many players who are regularly out with injury season after season. it stinks like a fishwifes fanny.
  16. The two investors that we've heard are wanting to buy a club are the injuns and the arabs.
  17. agree with every point made there. and Ashley can harp on about £20m a year of his own money on transfers plus reinvesting revenue from players, Sky etc all he wants but he's had 3 windows to invest his money in strengthening the side and we've spent fuck all in net terms and the squad is still too small. so I can deduce from the evidence that he's talking shite.
  18. the security thing is s****. he's a football club chairman, fan hostility is in the job description. difference between hostility and assault. he wan't assaulted. he wanted to be one of the lads but in his position you can't do that. It is a job where you are in control of the emotions of hundreds of thousands of people. if things go wrong then people will be pissed off and you will have to face the consequences. if you're a chairman you will face the wrath of angry fans. you can't have your cake and eat it.
  19. the security thing is shite. he's a football club chairman, fan hostility is in the job description.
  20. He should have been open with the fans about his "vision" at least 12 months ago. He has fucked up royally by hinting we we were doing one thing when in reality we were doing another. He's now feeling the backlash that his web of lies has created.
  21. Ashley was an idiot for working to the deadline, he was told that the deadline was imposed to prevent news getting out which would cause the club problems. Sir John imposed the deadline, not Ashley so whoever told you that is wrong, fact. Sorry if that appears arrogant but it's true. Not getting into a row about the deadline. I have my sources, you have yours. Agree to disagree. But if Ashley was willing to buy the club without appropriate due dilligence then he's not fit to run the club and deserves to have his fingers burnt by losing money on NUFC.
  22. most owners / chairman will have been through this. Whether it's right or wrong it's part of having power at a football club.
  23. Sir John gave him a deadline which didn't allow him to go through the books. well Ashley was an idiot for agreeing to it !!!! We're talking about spending hundreds of millions of £'s and he wasn't able / willing to do due dilligence ?!?!??! And the version of events I heard from people who work directly for Mort and Ashley was that it was Ashley who laid down the deadline and said "there's your offer, there's a deadline, take it or leave it"
