The amount of gutters smashed on garages round ours was insane, at one point we used the crates from 'the factories' to make a very dodgy dugout on our main field, and even corner flags for the purposes of Uwe Rosler and Roger Milla style antics.,

a few more quite plain adidas t shirts added to the site.

SPOT was another good football based game in the concrete jungle of washy.
-
world cup singles in NE38, rarely got close to grass though was usually in a factory car park or something.

I seen him in shields the other day, he did not look like an exclusive man

Are they some kind of wc cash in? One in Argie/Brazil/German colours. I remember the portacabin having the Argenina shirts when Ossie was in charge, sure I spotted the lesser seen Cameroon shirt too but it could be a trick of the memory. John Burridges subs bench was incredible for shirts back then.

It would unquestionably be below the league cup, although almost anything would be now. On the fence about conference would have to rotate squad, would mess up saturday games too which is annoying, at least europa would fell worthwhile.
-
Chelsea- CIty final is in our favour too I guess, even if it just pushes conference down.

Yeah I'm alos not interest in the womens side of it, primarily as the blokes stuff takes up enough time. I'd consider introducing my son to the game via a womens game for various reasons - although the GIS is not hugely alluring so would probably wait until an SJP game.
-
Yeah I get that but they’re playing in a park in gettin with presumably meagre crowds paying a few quid each, no way will it make money with very little if any tv money. Same for us.
-
debateable if any womens team are assets from a financial pov, do any actually make money?
-
FIFA have definitely tried to gerrymander it with England unable to play certain teams to last 4 etc, only wild card would be someone unexpected like France say, coming 3rd and getting through then going into hard bracket.
-
I think the lack of neutral venues makes it all blend into one a bit, also the fact its became a bit more of a closed shop and it doesn't really stand out as being a rare televised game anymore. Chelsea Leeds would have been great this year at Villa park or somewhere similar.
-
yes same for me, I should really have remembered it though as used to order the dvd's of all the finals at toffs many years ago so knew all the finalists from 50s onwards.

30% off loads of wc shirts on kitbag

I'd say PNE since ww2, QPR since korean war, Bristol City and charlton since 66?
-
the guardian one on the 4-3 loss at anfield isn't bad, caulkin ok on this, pulling eccleshare up for use of united exclusively for man u.
-
got this one on now, its decent.
-
Defo just lacked the consistency of other elite sides like Germany/brazil, at least until recent years when Germany have went a bit shit.
-
Italy have always been a bit shit or bust in my lifetime of watching football since 1990. Didn’t make Euro 92, good in 94 despite coming third in group, group stage 96, unlucky in 98/2000 to lose to winners France, farce in 02/04. Winners 06, out on pens 08. Group stage 2010 etc
-
Both seem very weak groups, irans probably a bit weaker, Egypt, Belgium and nz as opposed to Canada, Swiss and Qatar. Some stinking groups tbf.
-
They’ve not had a decent striker for ages, and the likes of Rossi/schillachi etc were very streaky. They’ve 90s strikers were unbelievable and perhaps they all cancelled each other out a bit. Baggio was dropped from 96 for example. Signori, zola, casaraghi, ravanelli, del piero, vieri, totti, inzaghi all way better than what they have now.

128 team World Cup in 2030 to be on the safe side for Italy.

off a while back but thought Robson Green was good on adopted geordie podcast, had him down as a posh type but think he came across quite genuine.
-
A well known stat that! He was a decent championship level player tbf, head like a lightbulb.
