  1. Yeah that Cisse story has got to be bollocks. £9m was fuck all. Adding in the players brought in the summer and it doesn't come anywhere near the £35m we got for Carroll.
  2. Krul Debuchy Williamson MYM Haiidara. Anita Tiote Sissoko Ben Arfa Gouffran Remy Obviously if Colo is back he'll play. Santon needs a break, his confidence is shot to pieces. Toss up for left back but just not a huge fan of Dummett. De Jong on and two up front if we're struggling.
  3. Vs Villa. Anita Tiote Sissoko Ben Arfa Gouffran Remy. Simple as that. You've got most of Pardew's old favourites in there, while playing everyone in positions they are comfortable with. Hell switch Gouff and Remy if you want to.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

As recently as Norwich away, Ben Arfa played well on the right wing. His conditioning isn't that big of an issue. Like I say he's been carrying a bit extra ever since that long injury last season. Who knows maybe he prefers being stockier? Besides he's not had an injury this season ( I know because he doesn't play ha ha) but maybe it's related to that in some way? He needs motivating and to play games from the right wing. Even early on against Chelsea he was causing them a few problems, let down by his finishing.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Ben Arfa's weight gain only become noticeable after that long, long absence with the hamstring injury last season. He returned in that Benfica game looking heavy. He's never really shed the weight ever since.
  6. Do we hope we finish about 11th or something now? I mean because at the start of this season it was stated we must achieve a top 10 finish so surely that's means to sake him? I'd much rather take 11th and no Pardew going forward, than 8th-9th and Pardew for the foreseeable future.
  7. Yeah to be fair, he complained about whistles and signs last time. Well this time there was just apathetic silence. Progress
  8. Not the reason we lost but, and ignoring everything about Pardew etc. Some shocking errors tonight. Thought goalkeepers were always taught to palm the ball away from danger. He kept dropping it right into danger.

    Papiss Cissé

Actually looked like he was really trying first half and he was still shit. Should have scored a couple. Honestly think he's done for here. If we're relying on him next season when Remy leaves and we sign no one, then we're getting relegated.
  10. Don't think there is anyone there to sack him anyway. Get the impression Ashley very rarely is ever actually there in person. Our "board" probably consists of about 2 people.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

He tried for about 10 mins then gave up like everyone else did when they scored the 3rd. No point singling out any players at the mo. They are all as bad as each other. All just playing at about 40%
  12. Has he every apologised personally for being responsible for a loss? I cannot remember off the top of my head.
  13. I really don't see why a manager down-playing his team's chances in a press conference means anything. That's the smart thing to do. You're supposed to publicly take the pressure off the players. It's one of the reasons why Mourinho is so good. What kind of fucking mentalist goes to a press conference and says "aye, we'll win nee bother." Even when Premier League teams are playing against League One sides in the cups, the manager will generally do the usual, "anything can happen on the night," bit. It's just good sense. Yet when Pardew does it he's "demoralizing the team." It's ludicrous, for fuck's sake. What are you on about man? I'm not saying he needs to say, "aye, we'll win nee bother." He just doesn't need to say stuff like, "get spurs game out the way" and "8th is top of the league for us" Those were from just this week. I don't know what he says in private to the players your right, but based on their recent performances, every single one of them have given up now and are on holiday. He doesn't have to say we'll win, that's stupid. He could show some sort of confidence or positivity though that might filter through to the fans and his players.
  14. I think back to when Glen Roeder took over from Souness and it was like the dark grey clouds cleared and everyone suddenly got a huge boost. That first game against Portsmouth was like chalk and cheese compared with the games that came before it and was obviously topped off with Shearer getting the record. We need that now. Doesn't matter who it is anymore, we need a change because these players have given up. They are coming out, running around a bit, then losing and no one cares because that's the message the manager has sent out every time he opens his stupid face.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Whole squad have given up. No need to single out anyone really when we all know the route cause of the problems.
  16. We aint. We are, pack it in. Where do you see us winning another game ? Theres no rule that says you need to win another one is there? 37 points isn't enough to stay up. You get points for draws as well. We cant score or defend, we certainly wont get a 0-0. We cant win from behind which is what happens in every game. I dont see another point while this mingebracket is in charge, i really cant. Don't think even Pardew's exalted powers of listless defeat will get us 12 losses in a row. We haven't scored in 7 of the last 8 premiership games, including Sunderland, Norwich and West Brom and lost a cup game to Cardiff. I think it's very possible. You think we'll pick up 0 points for the rest of the season whilst 5 of the bottom 7 will all pick up between 10-13? We play Hull, Swansea, Fulham, Stoke and Palace. Lose all them and you're in trouble. We need one win and i cant see where it's going to come from. Villa game is huge now really if we want to win another game any time soon but even thinking about that, Villa have lots of pace and perform better away from home so
  17. Dunno how anyone can defend him. His quotes since the window closed have been pathetic. Sure I'll blame the players for poor performances but I can understand why they all look like they don't give a shit as it's all come from the manager.
  18. Commentator said " Cabaye leaving seems to have ripped the heart out of this club" As cheesy as that sounds it's pretty true. But I think just as bad is all of Pardew's soundbites (and no doubt saying it to the players too) that have basically been saying our season is over. Every single player has given up.
  19. That was in some ways worse than the derby. Not a single player on the pitch gave a single fuck. Never heard a game at st.james' so silent before.
  20. Make an attacking change you fucking twat. You got Cisse and De Jong doing fuck all and Ben Arfa and Marveaux just sat on the bench
  21. Put Gouff up front and get Hatem on the right. Or Better yet, match their formation and have Gouff and Ben Arfa supporting De Jong.
  22. Even Ben Arfa isn't the first sub on, well I was about to say I give up on Pardew, but I gave up on him a long time ago.
  23. Footballing lesson here. That's what you get though when you play 442 against a team with 5 in midfield. So much space for them to pass around. They can play a serious high line as well with Cisse and De Jong's serious lack of pace.
