  1. we look shit. Ben Arfa barely touched it in the number 10 role surprise surprise.
  2. Still absolutely shitting it but some element of hope is creeping back as we get closer to kick off. We'll know within the first 5 mins or so whether our lot are up for it or not.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

I don't think the false 9 thing worked at all. Nor to mention Gouffran is injured and Remy suspended for 3 games.
  4. Never would have guessed he had 3 kids, as he's still quite young. Really settled in here now I feel though, that stupid red card not withstanding.
  5. As much as I hate shola, I would absolutely love it if he scored tomorrow in a win. But I'd never want to see him play ever again
  6. Good news I suppose as the rest of that midfield looked decent against Norwich and I was scared Ben Arfa could be injured. Shola just has cause as much havoc as possible. Hold it up and then give it to someone else. Our Midfield is good, and defence for that matter as well have looked fairly solid recently. Ben Arfa is still far better than anyone on their team. If he's in the mood and we can get him the ball in key areas then we can still create chances. Pardew just has to get them fucking motivated. If we fly out the blocks with Sissoko making powerful runs, Sammy and Ben Arfa attacking their fullbacks and Debuchy and Santon getting forward as well, then we should have more than enough no matter who is playing upfront. It's all about mentality in the derby and if the players are fired up and showing it then so will the crowd.
  7. Poor fucker. Not like Chelsea are likely to do anymore more business anyway.
  8. Just remembered we played the first derby this season with Paul Dummett at CB and Ben Arfa upfront through the middle. Bunch of lucky cunts are the mackems.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Exactly, he's not really been tried there since Debuchy's improvement. Well except for Tuesday when it appeared to work well? Plus Debuchy doesn't need to bomb forward as much when Ben Arfa is on that side as he is capable of beating players on his own. Anyway no need to debate it really as clearly he'll be playing now, so we'll get to see well and truly whether or not it works. Just a shame it's taken Cabaye going for Ben Arfa to get a chance again in his best position.
  10. If Hatem as well is injured I'm not sure I can even bare watching it

Oh great, that will be why Marveaux is being brought in from the cold Only hope is that those pics are from yesterday and he'd been given the day to recover.

Which it shouldn't as I think now that he's up to speed he's perfectly capable of covering for Ben Arfa. Up to the Everton game I'd agree but post then he's been solid.

    Clément Grenier

Guess that's what happens when the other four options are suspended, injured or not match fit. Even in 2014 Just as well we didn't bin him as we've nowt else left, though god knows how it will affect the passing game we've been becoming quite accomplished at of late. Don't pretend like he hasn't been second choice striker all season.
  14. An injury is bad luck. What we actually have is pure incompetence.
  15. Wish Sky or someone would show this. It's amazing we're doing as well as we are considering how the vast the difference is in net spend between us and everyone else.

So they sign 5 this window and all 5 are available for the Derby. Fantastic.
