So according to kinnear and co we have a strong squad a few injuries and we'd have people like gosling bigi and vuckic playing in the premier league and their are nowhere near good enough, especially under this manager.

I'd warmed to Spurs more since Redknapp left and also I now have a relative who's a spurs fan. Used to absolutely hate them even just a few years ago. If they stay away from any of our players that I want to keep like Ben Arfa then I could tolerate them doing well and getting top 4 this season. Especially as I've grown to really dislike Arsenal recently.

Gouff is probably our best striker on current form (that miss permitting) so glad he's in. In fact, something that makes me laugh about these sort of games when we use squad players. Pardew actually uses a system that suits the players and puts them in more or less the correct positions.

Felt sorry for Bigi in that Benfica game. What on earth Pardew was thinking I will never know. To throw a 18 year old defensive midfielder in at right wing, who hadn't played for a while in a quarter final against a team like Benfica was just ridiculous. I remember going to the game really excited about a potentially fantastic game and then saw the team news and realised Pardew had bottled it.

Only things I'd say is I'd liked Cisse to have been involved in some sort of capacity as the kid needs a goal to kick start his season. Also having Good at the back concerns me a little but I suppose with Willo injured and Taylor suspended we can't exactly risk Colo and suppose it will be a good chance to see what he's got.

and as we saw last season, Ba simply won't play on the left. It's Cisse on the right or nothing and we can't go back to that. Don't know why I'm getting into this though because it's not going to happen but if by some miracle it did it would have to be Cisse benched and Ba on his own or Ba and Remy.

So even if this was true (it's not) and we went into the rest of the season with Ba. We could potentially be seeing the same first 11 we had last season that was in relegation form. Not to mention the fact Pardew admitted after Ba left that he had given in to him too much and that the Ba - Cisse partnership simply didn't work.

Each Pardew quote is just something out of a Michael Owen type brochure for Cabaye. It's all designed to get the most interest and money for him. Except buying clubs aren't idiots and will know what he can do and what he's worth.

Wasn't it quite widely reported we had agreed a loan with option to buy? Pretty big news if we have no such option and are just doing 'arry a favour at our own fucking expense. Seems that way yes.
