I think i'd have more respect for Alan if he just said look I haven't been backed with the players I want. To me he seems to do the opposite and blames everything and anything for his failings and that's because he kisses Mike Ashley's ass because he's desperate to keep this job and doesn't want to rub Ashley the wrong way.
Sky sports put us in the viewers poll for who is going to win the league alongside, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man United, Man City, Liverpool, Spurs.
Best of the rest
Or they just picked the best supported teams knowing they will txt in
Don't get that. So whatever your wage bill was the previous year, you are able to match that but also add about £4m a year on top. Seems ridiculously unfair on the smaller teams that may want to spent a bit to bridge the gap with the big boys.
Never thought we'd be in for Fernandes. Like fuck have we scouted in Turkey Agents will be pitching us players right up until the end of the window but I bet they will want to stick to their policy of scouting the shit out of players before they even make an approach.
Only really seen one european game with Colo-Mapou as a partnership but they looked solid and something had some potential. Would like to see it over a longer period of games.
Don't know where this idea has come from that Taylor is some big dominating defender. He maybe slightly stronger than Mapou but he is significantly slower.
Interesting watch, the Speed bit :'(
Very good show that, watched it first time round on BBC3.
Cheers for that, just watched it on the iplayer.
Interesting watch.
Or first home game of the season, new manager, new optimism, new more attacking tactics, most of their star players fit and healthy etc. Whereas if they are out of the title race later on they could just give up the later part of the season like last year like losing at home to Norwich etc.
Christ I can't find positivity in anything
wasn't it also something more along the lines of "silver lining because he had a bad season, teams aren't as likely to come in for him" or words to that effect.
