I reckon quite a few teams will have spent above their means. Some outrageous fees for some average players as others have said. I know it sucks but hopefully long term we reap the benefits of being tight with our money.

Not much competition for places in our starting 11 this season but then again it's been that way for along time as it was last year so hopefully no body gets lazy. Could do with Shola staying fit though just so we have some kind of Plan B when things are going wrong.

Had bit of time to reflect now. If we don't lose anybody then this window hasn't been tragic, but I would say we have to recruit in January. If other teams are spending now and we're not so be it but if we do nothing in January then that would be unforgivable and could mean losing star players in the summer as a consequence.
