I agree with Sifu. We look short of fitness/sharpness. The reason Everton have started so well in my opinion is because in the 2 games they looked a level above Man United and Villa in terms of fitness and intensity.

Man utd have rooney and van persie. What did they do today? instead of going 4-4-2 and playing both they dropped rooney and kept the system. Now agree with that or not but just because we have two quality strikers doesn't mean they have to play every game together. Rotation would be healthy especially with our small squad.

Are other teams spending next years tv money now? Cannot understand our small business considering we finished 5th and are in europe needing to add to the squad and kick on rather than stand still and then other teams around us spending 8 figure fees on players.

If Ba refuses to play wide left then we will have to do what the top teams do. Rotate. Cisse and Ba will have to rotate who starts because they very rarely link up together in the many games they have played. Not in the way say Ba and Shola have at times and also Ba and Best early last season. I know alot of people hoped when cisse arrived that we would have the new cole and yorke partnership or something but at some point we may need to realise that they don't work as a partnership. A bit to early to write it off completely yet I agree as neither look 100% fit but over the next 10 games atleast it would be good to see some signs of potential there.

without the penalty I'd have said he'd done ok but was obviously a little caught out by the pace of the game and a little fatigued from thursday. Think today proved without tiote we look very soft through the middle. Too many times with just a couple of passes chelsea cut straight through us and had players running at taylor and coloccini. If tiote is out we need 3 in the middle which is the formation anita and cabaye have played for most of their careers.

He really did look like he was playing on his own today. Lack of movement around him was embarrassing at times. Just hope he can carry on this bright start as others catch up in fitness and form. Wish he had taken that chance he made for himself in the 2nd half. Really would have dragged us back into the game if he had.

all the play kept going through him first half which hurt us and santon was getting really frustrated at not getting the ball.
